Well then it could have been different. Then it might have been xbox crushing dreamcast, and ps2 would have suffered the way that ps3 does now a days…
We might have had a "war" on xbox versus dreamcast, and then… If games were more plentifull on dreamcast around the release of xbox, then sega would still sell dreamcast today, or have produced dreamcast2.

Stop producing video game consoles and lose lots of money over it.

There are several things that I REALLY hate, one of those things is Sony.

With their stronger financial backing and ridiculously gigantic advertising projects they crushed the Saturn, the 64, the Dreamcast and almost the Gamecube.

When a very large company uses sheer advertising power vs. the ingenuity and creativity of a smaller but better company’s better product (Saturn, Dreamcast) stupid people flock like sheep without ever doing the math.

Of course, Sony doesn’t want you to do the math, because they have already done it and bloated it for you, like the ps2 could never pull off 15,000,000 polygons/sec. they were honestly only at about 5,000,000, now compare that with the Dreamcast’s 3,000,000, and actually even more, Sega was being modest and there really isn’t much of a difference. (Besides the DVD of course) But my fellow Americans (myself included, I was in fifth grade at the time) believed that the Sony consol would be WAY better than the Dreamcast in EVERY way.

What a disappointment; like I said, I hate Sony. They should make television sets for people to play their Segas on and maybe publish video games, for Sega of course.

Ohh BTW I forgot to mention I would end up using Deep Discount DVD. I have used them to Purchase DVD’s and they are really good place to purchase things. Not only do they have free shipping but there customer Service is excellent. Of course if you are able to deal with Amazon.com directly then that is a cool trust worthy place to purchase it too. Just thought I would mention this. Ohh and if your wondering I don’t work for either Deep Discount DVD or Amazon.

No Problem I wish I could get money from Sony that easily. I have plenty of idea’s for them and I am sure a lot of gamers do too. If you are located in the U.S. I found the game for a rather cheap price so if you want it I will link the site so you can compare prices

I don’t know about you guys but when I totally correlate Dreamcast with great childhood memories (are teens considered childhood?). The first time you see Sonic running from that giant killer whale, or the “Holy crap!” graphics of Soul Caliber, and the inventive usage of cell shading of Jet Grind Radio. You’ll always have a special place in my heart, Dreamcast. You deserved better.

If you want to still play Powerstone they did end up porting both Powerstone 1 & 2 to the PSP and called it the Powerstone Collection so if you have a PSP and want to play it I suggest you look for it although it is kinda hard to find now. Good Luck!!!

\the dreamcast is one of my favorite consoles of all time, its a shame they wont be making another one. it would definately without a doubt bring serious competition to the wii. i miss powerstone
