Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Demo Unleashing in August

Those having trouble waiting until September to get their hands on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be happy to hear that a demo will be hitting Xbox Live and (hopefully) PlayStation Network sometime in August.
And this won’t be some run-of-the-mill demo, no sir. Lucas Arts Marketing Manager reports that the demo level will take place inside a Tie Fighter Construction Facility and feature a special ending, different from what we’ll see in the retail game. You’ll also be able to wield special force powers that normally wouldn’t be unlocked at that point in the game.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed hits shelves on September 16th for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, Playstation 2 – you know what, everything. Everything that could play Force Unleashed will have a copy. Even your iPod and iPhone. I’m not kidding, no matter how much I wish I was.
