New Game Releases: 7/28-8/02

This week’s selection of game releases seems to be one of the better weeks of the summer so far with the release of the highly anticipated Soul Calibur IV, and a host of new games coming out for the Wii including MLB Power Pros 2008 and SNK Arcade Classic Vol. 1.

PC gamers also get a really good week with a bunch of releases including Beijing Olympics 2008, City Life 2008 Edition and Everlight. As for downloadable content, be on the watch for Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 for the Xbox Live Arcade and if you’re really bored, you might want to even check out Pong Toss-Frat Party Games for the WiiWare, which is essentially a Beer Pong game without the beer.
