Is Microsoft holding back, or will the FF demo remain a PS3/Blu-ray exclusive?

DKΣ3713 announcements have begun to make their way around the interwebs, and according to a translation of FF7AC Reunion provided by FinalFantasy-XIII.net, the Advent Children: Complete Blu-ray, currently scheduled for release in March of 2009, will contain a playable FFXIII demo and the Final Fantasy Agito XIII trailer.

While I personally own both next gen consoles, it appears that the demo will only work on the Blu-ray capable Sony PS3. This news may sting the Xbox 360 owners who only recently found out that they too would be able to play Final Fantasy XIII on their console.

Of course there’s still a chance that Microsoft will throw a few bucks in the direction of Square Enix and get themselves a demo as well, but as of right now, Sony PS3 owners once again have the upper hand in the battle of FF supremacy.

Ok Bruce I will tell you “who cares”. PS3 suits that tried desperately to hide their anger when MS stole one of their best exclusives right out from under them. I am not a “fanboy” of either console, but I am a big believer in karma.

Of course it will only work on the PS3. They haven’t even started working on the 360 version yet HAHAHA

I’m tired of publishers trying to sell other shit by slapping a demo or video for a game on it. Let us download the crap and shut up. Put up a kiosk at WalMart or Gamestop and give the demo out for free. Do we really want more Zone of the Enders garbage? Hell, it’ll probably end up on XBL/PSN as a free download anyway, and seriously, if you’re going to by the crappy movie in the first place, you know you’re going to buy the crappy game anyway, so what do you need a demo for?

Because, fans of final fantasy will need to try out FF13 before they……. yeah you’re right, f*** the demo.

I don't care. Put it out for either system, I just want to try it out. I have both 360 and ps3 so…
