    Hey, maybe he’s a pro drummer, you know? I mean, I’m torn. I want to make fun of him, but the drums are almost like real drums, so maybe he’s like this cool rocker who happens to play rock band and gets lots of action, even though I think someone who takes the time to set up a camera to record themselves playing rockband to put it on you tube probably isn’t getting a lot of tang… of course I’m old and don’t know what I’m talking about because cool people play games and get laid because of their guitar hero/rockband/DDR skillz these days… it’s sickening. SICKENING!

    If he’s not a pro drummer, he just became one. Sit him in front of Rock Band and replace his drums with a real drum set, and he just played that song. If only they could somehow translate the guitars well enough that they teach you to play real guitar, then Rock Band could be some very inexpensive music lessons. Or maybe real guitars need to be invented that are played like Rock Band guitars — that would be sweet.

    Without trying to take anything away from the guy… note that he isn’t actually playing the double kicks and various bass drum rolls as he only has one bass drum pedal and he certainly isn’t pulling off double kicks etc with the single pedal.

    He’d need to learn to before trying to play for real!

    I can do that. No seriously its not that hard if you’ve been playing real drums for quite a few years. Rock band is not really as hard as it looks and expert mode feels like normal mode because you don’t miss a beat. You are actually replicating the exact motions and strikes of the pro drummer…almost. On a real drum set it would be played in almost the same manner but you would be hitting more than 4 pads.
