PS3 “Left 4 Dead” by Valve? EA to the Rescue!
by Chad Lakkis on August 3, 2008 at 2:48 pm
The Official Playstation Magazine reports that Valve’s Left 4 Dead survival-horror game will be making its way to the PS3 console as a port courtesy of Electronic Arts. This is the second time in recent history that Valve is partnering with EA to port one of their titles to the PS3 — the first being Orange Box.
Will this port be any better than the last, and will Valve once again shun responsibility if it isn’t. Those are the million dollar questions. Stay tuned for the sixty dollar answers.
Update: Valve’s Doug Lombardi was recently asked about the PS3 port of Left 4 Dead and stated the following “There is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production.” Read the entire update here.

Isn’t it absolutley typical of valve to hand off another ps3 game very lazy.
I not allowed to use any hate speech so to Gabe Newell i say this, you are a tool.

I can’t help but feel that this is a rumor that got blown out of proportion. If it does come true then I’m glad. Should be fun playing co-op with friends. I don’t think EA will mess this port up (at least they tried with the Orange Box).
And I agree that Gabe Newell is a tool. You can think whatever you want, but telling everyone that you think the PS3 is a waste of time (as EA’s financial reports prove wrong) is pure PR fail.
