First Screenshots of Batman: Arkham Asylum

It seems there’s a trend lately in the industry- whenever a company announces a game, you can bet that they will probably release, or leak, the screenshots in less than a couple of days. The latest game that follows this trend is RockSteady Studios Ltd.’s Batman Arkham Asylum, a chilling thriller from the mind of Paul Dini, whom you might know from the popular Batman: The Animated Series.
Unfortunately for RockSteady Studios, these screenshots weren’t leaked by some ambitious blogger or Batman fanboy enthusiast- they were leaked from RockSteady Studios’s site itself. Apparently, someone let the gallery of screenshots go live way before it was supposed to. The gallery has since been removed from RockSteady’s site, but of course, once something gets on the internet, its there forever.
Hit the jump to see the gallery of beautiful, Unreal Engine-produced screenshots for the game.
