Kid Rock Trumps Peter Moore, Artist Instructs Kids to “Steal Everything” (Video)
by Chad Lakkis on August 25, 2008 at 12:08 am
In an age obsessed with cracking down on piracy, EA President, Peter Moore stated that he didn’t necessarily feel the focus should be put on punishing those who illegally pirate merchandise. Instead, he suggested that it was the responsibility of the creators to find ways to deter the act.
This was refreshing to hear, but Kid Rock has taken it a step further, by encouraging kids to not only download music illegally, but to “level the playing field” by stealing everything. Check out the video after the jump.

I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not…

I think this is total sarcasm, and the best part is, if you are a kid watching this, you are likely thinking “no way man, if I do that I’ll get arrested!”
It’s reverse psychology that shoots holes through the “it’s not really stealing” mindset.

Well I wish this weren’t sarcasm;he’s kinda right as we all know.
The industry has to grow on something, but there are too many intermediaries & people getting our money in a legally tangent & questionably way.
Is morally OK to steal when you’ve been stealed, for you are getting what they took from you.
[CreatorConsumer] directly is the way to go.
**ck E.A., Microsoft,& everyone else getting our part of the pie & having the balls to label us as criminals.
