First Final Fantasy XIII, Versus, and Agito Real-Time Screenshots
by Roly Reyes on August 27, 2008 at 11:29 pm

IGN randomly decided to release the very first (as far as I know) real-time, in-game screenshots of the FF XIII series. I must say, they look stunning. Not Heavy Rain stunning, but not especially far off.
Things to pay attention to, in addition to the immaculately detailed player models, are the architecture and set pieces. Screenshots for Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII can all be found after the jump.
First up, Final Fantasy XIII:
And next, the first in-game screens of Agito and Versus:
I’m giddy with anticipation. I can hardly wait for 2009, when the first Final Fantasy XIII game will hit store shelves.

I think XIII looks better than Heavy Rain, but that’s just me and besides the point

FF doesn’t need to look like Heavy Rain IMO,it’s not after realism,FF Style has always been like a comic/anime/painting.
In other order of things,
I’m far more interested in Versus XIII! Thank you for the pics, there are some I didn’t saw.

There’s a demo release for XIII in March of 09. But there’s no exact release date just speculations. We have these shots on this XIII forum I’m part of they do look nice, I’m pretty excited and I’m glad that SE decided to make Agito on psp rather then phone.
