The second installment of Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia Developer Diary was sent to us today, and the game just keeps looking better and better each time I see it.

This session showcases a massive new boss known as “The Warrior” with another high speed sketch, and delves into details on Ahriman’s Corruption.

UBISOFT RELEASES SECOND DEVELOPER DIARY VIDEO FOR PRINCE OF PERSIA

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 6, 2008 – Today, Ubisoft announced the release of the second Developer’s Diary for the upcoming Prince of Persia. Now available for immediate posting, this new video gives us an exclusive inside look at never-before-seen details of Ahriman’s Corruption and provides in-depth information about the game’s massive second boss: The Warrior. The Prince’s deadly new companion, Elika also takes center-stage as the developers highlight their distinctive acrobatic style combat as well as reveal new details about Elika’s magical abilities and the role that they will play in the game.

Prince of Persia is scheduled to release December 2, 2008 for the Xbox 360(TM) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, and PC.

About Prince of Persia
Set in a land rooted in ancient Persian mythology, the Prince finds himself caught in an epic battle between the primal forces of light and darkness: the God of Light, Ormazd versus his brother Ahriman, the destructive God of Darkness. The Prince arrives just in time to witness the destruction of the legendary Tree of Life – an act which threatens to plunge the entire world into eternal darkness. Manifested in the form of the Corruption, a dark substance that physically contaminates the land and the skies, the Prince must partner with Elika, a deadly companion, to heal the world from the evil Corruption.
