I want to play the demo like crazy, but at the same time, I want the full game to be fresh when I play it. I trust Valve to make it fun no matter what, though. @pinwheel:

I'm probably looking forward to this particular title more than any other this holiday season. Fallout 3 is a close second, but no online co-op in that one. As for the demo, sure, I'll give it a go. My only worry is that it might spoil some of the fun that would otherwise be discovered in the final game. This was part of the problem with the demo for Crackdown; the thrill of jumping between rooftops only lasts so long, and I'd already spent hours doing it in the demo, long before I had the actual disc in my hands. But of course, how can anyone resist the lure of a free trial, when everyone else is playing it and raving about how excellent it is? Hello there, I’m new here.
