WoW Whore Has 36 Accounts, Raids by Himself
by Dan Landis on October 10, 2008 at 10:51 pmIn what is perhaps the most shining example of obsession and geekiness I have ever seen, a fella by the name of Bradster has 36 World of WarCraft accounts that he plays on 11 computers simultaneously. He mainly seems to be doing it because he doesn’t like to rely on so many other people to get a raid going, which includes attacking the Alliance capital cities, and on that front I can totally see where he’s coming from.
I hate those Alliance douchebags too, but I’m not about to drop $5711 per year like Bradster is. The best way to get to them is to just live well, right? Well, Bradster doesn’t appear to be letting the Alliance off the hook so easily, as he plans on picking up 36 copies of Wrath of the Lich King on day one, spending around $1500, just so he can have a raid group of level 80 Shamans terrorizing Stormwind as soon as possible.
Read on to see how this crazy man manages to control all of these characters.
From the Bradster himself:
A lot have asked me, why create so many? The main reason is to invade Stormwind and Ironforge when they reach top level. I’m sure the Alliance will put up a big fight when that happens. We’ll see how it goes. If they don’t make level 70 before Wrath of the Lich King, then it will be at level 80. That is my main goal. That will probably happen after I’ve got some PvP gear from the battlegrounds. I’m also planning to do some 25 and 10 man raid instances but that is secondary to my PvP goal. Of course I’ll be doing arenas too to build up PvP gear but I’m not expecting to do that great there because I’m way behind in gear right now. I need to get to level 70 first, then level 80 and by then I will probably have all green gear while most others have been doing the battlegrounds and arenas.
It costs me exactly $5711 in subscription costs per year with 36 accounts on the 6 month pay schedule. Not bad considering I’m looking at it like it’s a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft.
32 of my shaman are level 61. One shaman that I had before I started the 32 is at level 70 along with 8 other level 70 classes that I had. My mage, priest and druid are in the center of the circle of shaman in the pictures but they are kind of hard to see. I’ve also got some mages and priests that I’m currently working on that are level 23. Once they are at level 31.9, I will stop working on them, get 16 of them to level 60 with the recruit-a-friend bonus levels and work on the shaman again.
When Wrath of the Lich King is released, I plan to be at the store when it opens and will purchase 36 copies of it. With tax, it should be about $1500 for all of them. Then the shaman are on their way to level 80 along with the priest, druid and mage.
By the way, I have 9 level 80 shaman created on the Murmur PvP realm in the Wrath of the Lich King beta. I mainly tried it out to see how well my computers would work as they are. With the exception of one my desktop computers, I should be fine with the hardware that I have.
I use 3 addons in the game. CT_MapMod is used to give me locations for quests, etc. ClassIcons is another addon that I use to show the class of the target. It helps for PvP encounters. Then the last addon I use is SSPVP2 which is excellent for displaying timers and other things while in the battlegrounds.
For my keys to send to all instances of WoW on my 11 computers, I use Octopus 1.3.2. Maximizer in Octopus allows me to start up all WoW instances at the same time or any individual instance such as if a WoW instance has crashed. It also allows me to shutdown all of the computers at the same time.
Here is a picture of my computer set up:
Not shown to the right is another laptop which runs 3 copies that I just moved there. The keyboard on the right was moved to the top shelf there as I don’t really use that keyboard while playing. I have macros that set my main assist/cast/follow. Any of the eight screens to the front can be set to main assist/cast/follow as my mouse scrolls to them all using Octopus.

*UPDATE: As some commenters have pointed out, Bradster is not the owner of Prepared and all of the 36 WoW accounts, he was just the guy that uploaded the links to the forum. Bradster himself has only 5 WoW accounts. Bradster is the one who is married, so we don’t really know anything about Prepared’s girl-touching status. You may now continue to unabashedly flame.

get a life loser
on October 11, 2008 1:15 am
If by “loser” you mean Bradster, I am pretty sure the best way to reach him would involve signing into World of Warcraft.
on October 11, 2008 1:24 am
I wonder how he picks which of his selfs are going to raid and which are going to wait on the standby list.
on October 11, 2008 1:26 am
:O
on October 11, 2008 2:43 am
LOL WoW.
……people still play it?
on October 11, 2008 3:12 am
What a loser…

on October 11, 2008 3:33 am
if you search loser in the dictionary it come up with “Bradster”
and why spend so much money, yes their are more expencive hobbies but their are cheaper 1’s aswell
you could buy a ps3 and a new game every week and spennd less money then what it would to play a stupid game witch causes people to sit infront of a computer 24/7 and even if you were to play WoW your even more of a loser if your only friends in the game are your self
on October 11, 2008 4:37 am
I wonder why people call him a loser when he’s capable of doing some of us could just dream of. And by all means, don’t be harsh on the guy. It’s his life and it’s sure better than writing “get a life loser” on a game news/forum site. Enough said! Keep going Bradster!
on October 11, 2008 4:55 am
aaaaaahahahaha this is just sad, sad because PUGs/Alliance do suck alot of the time. Sad because one person has resorted with playing with himself (insert pun here) rather than with other people. But you know, this is plain addiction if you ask me. He needs to go to rehab or serious therapy.
on October 11, 2008 5:12 am
Is that used toilet paper I see under his chair?
on October 11, 2008 5:27 am
ask this guy about multitasking. jesus D:
on October 11, 2008 5:30 am
it must get pretty hot in the middle of all that.
but i wish i could run raids by myself that would be awsome.
on October 11, 2008 5:38 am
Though I think it is a waste of money, there are more expensive hobbies. Clearly he has the money to do whatever he wants, so calling him a loser only makes yourself look ignorant. Even more so because you are on the internet doing it.
To each his own.
on October 11, 2008 6:17 am
I wish i had that soughta money..
@ wohdin.. WoW still is, and always will be the most popular online game. Don’t flatter yourself with w/e piece of sh*t rip-off of WoW u probably play.
on October 11, 2008 6:51 am
Seriosly im gonna have to call the *cleaners* and take you away from home even tought wiht that money you could buy a House :/
And you are gonna feel frustated yourself when your 30-o what ever account end the subcription i never seen a worst guy like you buying mutliple account get a free server :P. I highly suggest you should step outside and pray up to the sky and follow these word
*God…why did i buy 36 account?* and make sure all WoW *healty* players hear ya :)
on October 11, 2008 7:10 am
In my opinion there is a limit when a hobby turns to an addiction, and I think this is just not a hobby to this bradster but an obsession.
on October 11, 2008 7:27 am
that is just insanity. who has that much time to waste nonstop hours playing just 1 account, but this guys plays 36?! talk about addiction.
i wonder how hot it gets in that room with all those computers and monitors at one time. not to mention his electric bill too.
on October 11, 2008 7:35 am
Just looking at the picture of all his computers set up, he has to be very smart to create that.
I’ve played WoW in the past & love it. I’m hoping to be able to play it again soon. I really admire this guys intelligence.
on October 11, 2008 7:44 am
WHAT A LOSER!!!!
I BET HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW THE TERM “Girlfriend”
on October 11, 2008 7:55 am
He does have a life actually, levelling isn’t really that hard and he’s been around doing so for ages. I know him, he’s on my Xfire. I did stop from playing WOW since my job and family took over my life.
Then again he’s been working on his army of 36 gor ages, levelling slowly.
on October 11, 2008 8:14 am
Man, that is bleak.

on October 11, 2008 8:44 am
WOW…not the game but my astonishment- i am astonished at the fact that this guy ‘bradster’ with the obvious technical intelligence does not have the common sense of a child. He has the mass capacitance to be able to set up 10 computers and simultaneously use them effectively but for what? A terrible outdated boring game that conceives hours upon hours of time; time that most people generally like to use having a life. And then the lack of common sense to go onto the internet and post what he is doing as if it is something people would praise him for? Bradster just basically set himself up for failure. I am sorry but it does not cost you exactly $5711 a year to play WOW: $5711 for account fees + $74×10(avg cost of elec for running a cpu for a yr) + $8000 (generous price of 9 CPUs, the 10th CPU most people have in their household) + any chance of getting laid = life.
As you can see bradster doesnt spend ‘only’ $5711 a year to play WOW but his life
It is sad to see such intelligence go to waste… same reason some people are intricate serial killers in prison, they are masterminds but dumba$$es
on October 11, 2008 8:47 am
ROFL theres a copy of everquest on his desk too.
on October 11, 2008 8:48 am
Obviously he has more than enough money, so why judge his hobby by the expenses?
It’s true that it’s weird to use thousands per year for WoW but does it matter if your bank account says $10000000.00?
on October 11, 2008 9:01 am
what a loser
on October 11, 2008 9:16 am
That’s not a waste of intelligence. No matter how much you already know about something, you learn even more by doing it. If I ever had a company that needed a computer system set up, I would want someone like this guy to be in charge of it.
on October 11, 2008 9:55 am
Unless it’s your money and you worked for it yourself, i suggest you shut up about what he decides to spend it on.
on October 11, 2008 10:03 am
I love all the people calling him a loser. So, he likes WoW– big deal. Just because a lot of you wouldn’t be able to do this without turning into a hermit with no social skills doesn’t mean he automatically has no life. For all you know he might go out with friends once a week; considering what passes for ’socialization’ around my hometown and college, WoW is a much healthier pastime. (Yeah, binge drinking isn’t my thing, kthx.)
besides, I think some people are jealous that he can afford to drop over $5k a year on WoW. Would that I had that kind of money.
So yes, I think a lot of the mockery is born of jealousy, at least in part. ;)
on October 11, 2008 10:09 am
is so fun raiding alone or play alone ? i thought the fun is teamwork .
on October 11, 2008 10:34 am
@nass: I’m a soloist by nature in almost every game I play, and it’s fun for me. To each his/her own.
on October 11, 2008 10:38 am
He might be a loser, but I bet he has way more money than most posting here. And what is a “life” anyway? Going out and getting drunk every Friday and Saturday night? Ogling over drunk women at nightclubs? If he spends his life doing what makes him happy, nobody has a right to judge. I’m with Resto; people are just hating because they can’t have what he has.
on October 11, 2008 10:43 am
god of multitasking.if only for WOW.kudos.
on October 11, 2008 10:43 am
(Sigh)…So Sad.
on October 11, 2008 10:59 am
Where does it say he has no life?
Leveling is fast, he has the money and the knowledge to do this.
And if he doesn’t play with others he can end the raid and go out anytime he wants (unlike those who play in hardcore guilds).
on October 11, 2008 11:03 am
Raiding in WOW consists of people in Ventrillo getting upset that their “meters” are showing that other players are slacking off.
Then the whole raid has to pause and listen to this person blame every problem in the current encounter on this problem, and then they point fingers and hurt feelings. The raid replaces the “problem” player, either with the same class or a different class that has the ability to do the required job. problem persists despite the replacment and raid breaks up after Mr “my meters show” starts cursing at people. You see, the guy with the meters, he’s usually a raid leader or guild owner/leader. Can’t do a thing about his behavior. Except leave the guild. The next day there will be apologies and the guild will continue on as always.
This is ONE of the social issues you deal with in
raiding.
This scenerio does not occur in ALL guilds, but goes a long way toward explaining why out of say, tens of guilds that COULD be raiding higher end content, there’s usually only 4 or 5 guilds that actually do have sufficient teamwork and maturity to do it.
on October 11, 2008 11:13 am
Look at the picture, very clean!
A+ man.
on October 11, 2008 11:18 am
To those who didnt get it, he is playing those 36 characters at the same time, using a program, which makes all the characters move when he moves one of them (to put it bluntly). So he can use just as much time as any wow player to the game.
>”He mainly seems to be doing it because he doesn’t like to rely on so many other people to get a raid going”
When did he say that? As far as I know he could still be raiding or doing other stuff with other players too. I dont think he’s reasons are anywhere near that.
on October 11, 2008 11:28 am
I really want to see what this nerd looks like. People like this have all but given up on any sort of social life. I bet he’s never even touched a girl before, not even his mom.
on October 11, 2008 11:33 am
That’s awesome. I wonder if there’s a world record for this?
on October 11, 2008 12:27 pm
I wonder if he lives in his mothers basement and tries to pick up teenagers cuz it seems he has no life to have 36 accounts in one game
on October 11, 2008 12:43 pm
the guy’s a freakin genius. wht he does with his time is his problem, no wait, thts his hobby. so who r we to say wht is SAD.weather he has or doesn’t hav a life. tell u wht he does hav tho, plenty of freakin money, and since its his money,-he can spend it on wht ever the hell he likes. lets remember the reason y he does this. the guy hates ppl screwing up a raid.face it he RAIDS then OWNS then LEAVES. like i said the guys a genius. brilliant even-freakin brilliant NUFF SAID, fanboys.
on October 11, 2008 12:49 pm
I am impressed, slightly disturbed but impressed o_o.
on October 11, 2008 1:16 pm
he should use hes brains to something more usefull.
on October 11, 2008 1:20 pm
If the guy has enough money to pay for all of this he has enough to get laid any time he wants – hookers don’t cost nearly as much..
on October 11, 2008 1:29 pm
What the fuck?!!?!?
Are you OKAY!!?!?!?
Damn..forgot ur mind inside of ur toilet !!!?
WHAT THE FUCK
HAVE A LIFEEEE
ITS A GAME
NOT A REAL LIFE
CAMOOON
LOOOL DAMN I CANT BELIEVE
SO RETARDTED AND SO REDICILIOUS !!
DAMN ROFL
on October 11, 2008 1:31 pm
I’m impressed as well. Not only am I impressed over this guy’s technical knowledge, and his ability to multitask like that, which would obviously be required. But I’m also impressed over how jealous you people are actually able to sound. When it comes down to it you’d all like a set-up like this, hell, I bet most of you would KILL for it. Stop hating the guy cause of his choice for a hobby. I’ll salute you for your skills Mr. Bradster. Good job!
on October 11, 2008 1:45 pm
Don’t be a Bradster and get a life!
on October 11, 2008 2:10 pm
Wow! And here I was thinking that The World Ends With You was tough, and that one only had two screens to concentrate on!
on October 11, 2008 2:11 pm
hahaha. You people that are bashing him, grow up.
Just because he can spend more in a month then you make in a year is no reason to be mad.
At this man I salute you
on October 11, 2008 2:18 pm
You call this guy a loser?
I say, I want whatever job this cat has that lets him do this and still, Uhhh…. Buy food!
Don’t hate just cause he lives your dream life.
on October 11, 2008 2:38 pm
He should just hire some power leveling services to bump all his toons to lvl 70! then pay for them to be bumped to 75,000 honor and THEN pay for them to be arena geared for 1800+ ratings….
If he has the money for 36x that. Which would usually cost like 500$ per account so thats 36×500 = 18,000$
goodluck Bradster, you can be NUMBER 1 by putting all your savings into a game…
on October 11, 2008 2:47 pm
I’m betting this guy is really Stephen Hawking…
on October 11, 2008 2:53 pm
Hey man, more power to him. If 5K a year got me a set up that made me feel like an Operator in the Matrix I’d be feelin’ pretty good about myself too. I’m sure there are unhealthier, more expensive hobbies. Cocaine comes to mind.
I’d like to say ‘wow, good on ya, man’, but … sweet chocolate-covered Jesus in a tutu. 36? Really? That’s just a touch obsessive.
on October 11, 2008 2:54 pm
if he can afford all that hardware. i think he is pretty well off lol so if he wants to make playing wow a challenge i say go for it cause we all know Wow is easy mode for any1 with an IQ over 65
on October 11, 2008 3:00 pm
Only poor cretins call him a loser, obviously he has a job that pays more than minimum wage that you kids have. It’s his money, let him have fun with it.
on October 11, 2008 3:10 pm
Maybe he has to sit in a wheelchair and because of that plays wow so much..? I bet some hardcore wow players are people like that.
on October 11, 2008 3:20 pm
So… enough cash to buy 11 computers capable of running 3/4 copies of WoW, enough for 36 subs a month, and enough to buy all the copies in the first place, and he’s not homeless and presumably not starving to death.
That, I guess, would mean having a job that pays high, and requires little working time. Which means he can do what he likes with his money.
Yeah, compared to everyone saying “LOL sad loser get a life tuch a girl lolololol” he’s TOTALLY the bigger idiot.
on October 11, 2008 3:58 pm
Ok seriously I’ve always considered WoW to be a horrible button mash, not really a fan of rpgs I guess but this guy is amazing… That’s a friggin sweet setup he’s got goin.
He just made himself cool.
on October 11, 2008 4:00 pm
Everyone bashing this guy 9000
on October 11, 2008 4:02 pm
Everyone bashing this guy < 18 years old
Everyone intelligent enough to understand that he clearly has the time and resources to dedicate to this sort of venture, as well as the free will to do so > 9000
P.S. LOL TOUCH A GIRL BECAUSE THE only worthwhile pursuit in life is sex. Wait, isn’t that the only thing animals do, eat and screw each other? Hmm, how ’bout that?
on October 11, 2008 4:19 pm
man i want that set up….
on October 11, 2008 4:23 pm
Loser, Thats all this guy is. I hope Blizz bans all of his accounts so this guy ends up killing him self, Because I’m sure he wont give me the information to do so my self.
I would be more than glad to kill this fag.
on October 11, 2008 4:52 pm
I think its quite funny that people call him a looser because he plays 36 accounts. He just has the money and enjoys the game. And anotherthing you numskulls seem to be the point that he plays the SIMULTANEOUSLY so HE DOESN’T PLAY MORE THAN THE AVERAGE WoW player. point made
on October 11, 2008 4:57 pm
Phantom, Someone who puts his life into a game, thats not called dedication, thats called being a lonely loser who trusts no one, I doub’t this guy has a girl friend.
MMORPG’s are fuckin Multiplayer games, THeir not ment to play by your self.
on October 11, 2008 5:15 pm
This is sad. Im not impressed by all of his equipement nor his ability to multitask. Someone get this poor soul some help quick.
on October 11, 2008 5:48 pm

on October 11, 2008 5:52 pm

on October 11, 2008 5:52 pm
Can i join your raids too?! im good i promise!
on October 11, 2008 6:00 pm
Brewing beer is a hobby too! Lots more friends in that.
on October 11, 2008 6:13 pm
Umm.. to the person who mentioned the powerleveling services, etc…
#1. NOT ALLOWED – you can and will get banned for this!! (Whereas it is perfectly acceptable to have multiple accounts and multi-box, as long as you are not using any unacceptable programs, so it sounds like he is doing this correctly)
#2. The stupidest players are those who use power leveling services (you can always tell who they are too – the level 70 who doesn’t even know the basics of the class they are playing)
#3. Really, where is the fun in having someone else level up you chars for you?
And, as some people have already said, he is not taking more time than the average wow-player by doing this because he has a key-cloneing-type program (which is acceptable) which basically means he can run all of his accounts/chars with the same keystrokes.
WoW- players are not neccessarily anti-social-don’t-have-a-life-geeks. My hubby dual-boxes (as do I occasionally) and we play wow with our real life and internet friends, AND we see our friends in real life. WoW is just another way of socializing and/or another way to get away from things for awhile. And, also, I would love to know what kind of job he has that allows him to be able to do that, because, yeah… I’d like that job! :)
on October 11, 2008 6:37 pm
Okay so I don’t understand how people are O_O’ing over the price of the game and subscription, when the price of the sheer HARDWARE that could run that (plus all the screens) must be astronomical.
I would lol if he decided to start Warhammer Online =]
on October 11, 2008 6:39 pm
hah
he should play online poker instead, he’s got the setup
on October 11, 2008 6:48 pm
People call him a loser… i then look at they lives of those who call him so, and I realize they are… 1) less intelligent than this WoW player, 2) Broke ass hell compared to this WoW player, 3) have no prospects of any kind, 4) some single 40 yr bob belly who jacks off to porn, or 5) some lil high school kid who thinks he’s bad ass watching american idle every chance hes got.
on October 11, 2008 6:59 pm
damn
on October 11, 2008 7:06 pm

on October 11, 2008 7:17 pm
I saw a life on eBay for about 1200 bucks. That may be cheaper.
on October 11, 2008 7:31 pm
How unbelievably lame…we only get one life, and it is pathetic that someone is pissing it away like this.
on October 11, 2008 7:41 pm
Wow! I know nothing about warcraft or everquest as i am only a sports game buff, but after i stumbled upon this article, even i am impressed! That is some cool ass shit. I hope you destroy everything in your way. You have certianly earned it!
on October 11, 2008 7:56 pm
Why are you guys being so harsh? yes this is taking WOW to the extreme but some of your comments are really lame. the biggest irony is that you guys are all reading and posting on a blog that’s dedicated to video games and other geekery. the fact that you’re taking the time out of your amazing, sex filled lives to roast this guy on a blog for nerds… what does that say about you?
on October 11, 2008 8:02 pm
O my god, now this is what i’d like to see, an actual geek like me that is playing 36 accounts on the same time, not that i have THAT many accounts , due my 2 pc’s can handle 5/6 accounts at the same time at once.
yes i can solo karazhan with at least 10 of em, but even i can do it with 8/9.
Nice man , very nicely done +Karma if i could give it to you :D
on October 11, 2008 8:05 pm
he should use his skills for the military.
on October 11, 2008 8:12 pm
wow. that is just…that is just…
3 accounts, loser. 5 account, loser. 10 accounts, get a life. But 36 simultaneous accounts. He’s broken far beyond the loser barrier and entered the realm of insanity and genius.
on October 11, 2008 8:15 pm
Amazing,
Although, I think its kinda weird that some people think wow=no life=no sex.
I’ve played plenty of MMOs and get laid as often as I want more or less. getting laid shouldnt be a standard. You gonna spend a majority of your life pursuing your hobby or getting laid? cause biology only allows a shred of your time to go towards sexins….
I’ll be playing warhammer and sleeping with my girlfriend now, have fun being jealous young pricks.
on October 11, 2008 8:24 pm
This man desperately needs to find a new hobby, be it recreational drugs, masterbation, or a girlfriend.. i don’t know, anything is better then this.
on October 11, 2008 8:29 pm
I play wow.. I run 5 accounts at the same time.. I get laid.. I go out and have fun.. I have sex with my girlfriend, I work and go to school.
I have no life.. yea..
You all need to just take a moment to thing about what you say before you say it.. then you can just go fuck yourself wile you are doing that.
36 accounts is impressive.. I do admit he can do better things with his intelligence but why should he..
FUCK YOU ALL
on October 11, 2008 9:11 pm
Some people are really addicted to wow. Fine. At least they still talk to people even if only in game.
on October 11, 2008 9:17 pm
I’m a stoner and I don’t even spend that much on pot per a year. This Bradster fella is an addict and needs help. Get him on Intervention….
on October 11, 2008 9:25 pm
Bloody well done Bradster, nice piece of work you’ve done there :)
As to all the morons calling him a loser – you go out drinking every thurs/fri/sat/sun night, he has a hobby. Go figure as to who’s wasting their life..
on October 11, 2008 9:40 pm
Say what you will, this guy must have insane organizational skills to prioritize and execute all that shit simultaneously. If this asshole could put that ability to something worthwhile..

my ex-guild leader has 3 boxes set up and he is leveling up 3 undead ‘locks at the same time, so this isn’t that strange to me at all. Now that I think about it, I have 3 computers, a work laptop, my girlfriends computer and enough parts laying around to make about 3 more, so I could get close to the 10 pc’s that bradster has. I *acquired* my (hard) copy of wow, and could do the same for however many more (love my friends), but I would have to pay for the monthly fee’s. With scripts/autofollow/etc… leveling up 20 or 30 characters would be roughly the same time investment as leveling up 1, you just have to be good at multitasking, as Maffi said. So, with a minimal startup investment, putting my drug habit cash into wow accounts monthly payments, and spending the same 2-3 hours a night leveling that I did on my old toons (70 druid, 69 shaman and 42 mage), I could do this to! now all I have to have is the burning drive that mr. bradster obviously had to do this….hmmm, probably not.
on October 11, 2008 9:52 pm
Actually that’s Prepared not Bradster.
To all those people saying get a life here is a fun question can you afford to do something like this and how much is your hobby? Obviously Prepared can afford this and would have a nice job to go with it.
Multiboxing is a fun way to add a new challenge to an older game, I wouldn’t knock it till you try it.

on October 11, 2008 9:52 pm
Daaamn o_0 Just amazing on several different levels. I am afraid and awestruck at the same time.
Haha, hopefully he’s not on the server I’m on. I enjoy playing in the Night Elf lands and would like not to get rolled every time I try to finish a quest.
Anyway, that’s hardcore geek-dom. I applaud you, sir.
If I had that kind of money to invest in 10 gaming quality pcs, that many flat screen monitors and programs to run it all smoothly, I don’t think I’d spend it on WoW like that….but hey, good on you and to each his own! ^-^
on October 11, 2008 10:05 pm
No, it IS Bradster. That’s his screen name, which obviously represents his real name of Brad. His characters are named Prepared, Prepares, Preparec, and all kinds of other different letters at the end of Prepare.
Hope that clears up any confusion.
Oh, and by the way, he apparently started out working on cars and then moved on to online gaming because it was less expensive. And sorry ladies, he’s married.
on October 11, 2008 10:06 pm
It’s a hobby, who cares? If he has the money to do it and he enjoys it then it shouldn’t matter. Personally I don’t play computer games and have never played any MMORPG, but just because this guy likes world of warcraft doesn’t mean he has no other life or whatever.
on October 11, 2008 10:08 pm
:O OH MY GOD! YOU MUST BE FUCKING INSANE!….or lonely….or bored. Which ever, doesn’t matter. Pick one. But seriosuly dude! WHY?!
on October 11, 2008 10:23 pm
http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=14611
Please re-read the post. Bradster posted it but it is Prepareds multibox team.
on October 11, 2008 10:24 pm
Monumental waste of energy, money, and time. I’m sure multi-boxing can be fun, but any more than a few accounts and even most hardcore WoW players would agree that you’re an obsessive nutjob.
Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you should. Blizzard is rich enough, guys. ;)
(Also, he’d better hurry up with that druid if he wants to raid ’cause shamans can’t tank sh!t. XD)
on October 11, 2008 10:35 pm
LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It may be his money to do what he please with it but come on over $5,000 a year on a damn game?!
on October 11, 2008 10:46 pm
Did anyone even read the commenting rules? “No hate speech allowed.”
In any case, I’m sure the ones calling him a loser or someone who doesn’t have a life probably still live with their parents (old and young).
on October 11, 2008 10:58 pm
nice choice for mice!
on October 11, 2008 11:02 pm
Read Kaes and s’s comments
Here is a summary of good points on the page, imo:
1. This guy clearly has the funds to do this, judging by how he is DOING it
2. He has a program that makes all of his characters move when he controls one of them (pretty much)- meaning he doesn’t have play much more than the average player, really
3. The people making comments to the effect that he has no life for doing this are commenting on a video game blog, insisting that THIS guy has no life- clearly the best of judges
4. How many of your, more socially acceptable hobbies, are really “good” for you in the first place?
5. Also, he is married anyway? Who knows, but if true that pretty much voids the ever popular, ever assumptive, “LOL DOESNT KNOW WHAT A GRL IZ, LOL!!” argument.
on October 11, 2008 11:04 pm
Man props on the set up. And clearly ppl dont read the article… its not 36 all top lvl toons. 32 of them were only lvl 61. Bradster clearly has a life. So sad that ppl post with harsh remarks, to those that do GET A LIF LOSER!!!
on October 11, 2008 11:23 pm
I’d love to see this guy in action, and I agree with that guy that said 5k a year to get a set up that is like the Matrix. There are definately worse things to do with your money for sure.
on October 11, 2008 11:31 pm
Wow…I can only think one thing…this guy IS a virgin (the hand doesnt count!)…!
on October 11, 2008 11:37 pm
Unbelievable. Why not play some other games, bro?
on October 11, 2008 11:44 pm
You guys can talk as much crap all you want..but that is really talented…I wish I had that kind of money…seriously…AND that much ability to multitask.
on October 11, 2008 11:45 pm
Imagine how boring some single player fps must feel after playing 36 accounts simultaneously for as long as he has. Just the fact that he figured out a way to control all his ‘troops’ by himself boggles the mind.
on October 11, 2008 11:46 pm
My new hero :D
on October 12, 2008 12:07 am
Wow… Where does he get the money? I can’t afford the extra $15 a month to play one copy. Jesus.
on October 12, 2008 12:08 am
that is some nice work uve done there im impressed. i would love to do that aswell. but ive moved to WAR now.
and as to u all ‘OMG HES A LOSER’ farks, do u even know that a so called basement guy could even do 50000 hours of weights while in the basement and pwn all ur faces in real life. just because he plays a game doesnt means hes a loser.
the losers IMO are the people who work to pay off a loan until they die. THEY are the real losers.
the way to not be a loser is to enjoy ur life to the fullest. not none of this OMG IM JEALOUS SO I MUST CALL HIM A LOSER CUZ I SUCK SO MUCH speech.
he pwns u all
on October 12, 2008 12:09 am
Not to call into the question the integrity of this site or anything, but has anyone considered the possibility that this story is merely a hoax? Even though Bradster must spend a LOT of time indoors, certainly there would be others who could vouch for him if this were all true, yes?
On the other hand, if this IS indeed a true story, then Bradtser has missed his true calling: Air Traffic Controller.
on October 12, 2008 12:12 am
And I bet his electric easily exceeds $200 a month. $400 in the winter. Wait, no, he doesn’t need to turn on the heat, it’s all coming from the computers!!
on October 12, 2008 12:48 am
Man! I wish I could use the computers like him, maybe that’s because he is so rich. Damn I’m a loser.
If I were so clever I weren’t use my capacities for playing such a boring game, well, it’s boring to me.
on October 12, 2008 12:51 am
WOW YOU ARE A FUCKING HOMO!
on October 12, 2008 12:55 am
I like how people make fun of him for doing something he enjoys.
Sure, it is a bit extreme, but hey, I’m sure some of you have gotten made fun of for doing stupider things.
on October 12, 2008 12:57 am
LoL fucking mad cunt!!!
pretty crazy man use shit loads of download -.- but its all good man do wats right 4 u, ur destiny dw about the sad cunts calls u loser and shit man, keep in mine u have probly 10+ computers more then them cause u can afford it, there just jealous cause they had a bad childhood, and just want 2 abuse ppls online.
on October 12, 2008 1:07 am
for $6000 a month, you could literally buy a permanent whore. Like, a 24-7, real girlfriend that lives with you.
on October 12, 2008 1:39 am
lol well done man, very well done. I used to love using two IPs to multi 16 characters in a MUD, believe me I know it has its uses and can be very fun to prove you can do it.
Of course, MUDs were free, but what the hell
on October 12, 2008 1:44 am
OMG OMGO MGOMG OGMOGM GOM OMG OGMGO MG OMGOMG O. CARE REALLY WHAT THIS GUY DO!!!
on October 12, 2008 1:46 am
how can he be a pathetic loser? he has the money to spend $6k-$7k on hobby which means he’s successful in life.
In the meantime, he is enjoying the game while you people are still flipping burgers and calling him a loser.
on October 12, 2008 1:53 am
Brad you are fucking awesome.
All these fags that are saying “get a life” – what do they mean by that? – flip burgers, watch tv, drink beer and fuck ugly women.
You kick ass because one-man raiding has to be like conducting 4 orchestras at once.
Your setup is sick too.
GL.
on October 12, 2008 1:55 am
Not going to criticize this; To each their own (I just wish I could afford a tiny fraction of that gear so I could actually do productive things, like make art, video and music. Oh well).
But, I just want to see a damn video of this guy playing! Insanity.
on October 12, 2008 2:01 am
@ Peter;
Read the other posts before you jump to conclusions.
He is married, and everyones saying he’s a virgin?
All I can say is…lol @ them, trolling GAMING forums, looking for people to call a loser and say they have no life. While they probably took about 30 mins to upload the photos and write this entry, and could probably be out at the beach with friends or ANYTHING, while you’re sitting at home, on your computer bagging this guy, for doing what he loves.
Kudos to Bradster, keep it up!
on October 12, 2008 2:03 am
ok i cant spell but i really dont care
but why admire what he has done, yes it is hard to do but so is recreating the eiffel tower out of shit and i dont think people would be impreased with that
on October 12, 2008 2:06 am
Bradster is the Man!!
on October 12, 2008 2:09 am
I call bullshit until I see this guy in action.
And the only people that make me worry more about the human condition than Bradster are the people white-knighting him right now.
on October 12, 2008 2:11 am
hahaha gogog man
u pwn all
on October 12, 2008 2:47 am
Ok..I have played WoW since its release. I have 3 level 70s. A hunter in 6/8 t6, a priest in 8/8, and a full s4 druid. I play a lot of WoW. I have about 220+ days play time on those three characters combined. I consider myself a relatively hardcore WoW player…just under a chinese farmer’s status or a guy with a 70 of every class.
There, now you know where I come from. So let’s talk about this douche. I have always had an extreme hatred for shamans. Not because there class is beyond easy-mode, but a majority of the shamans I’ve played with on my server, are always the worst players, the biggest douches, and the biggest loot whores. And, they got CoH nerfed because their precious Chain Heal couldn’t compete with my priest (qq more shamans!).
There is one dude on my server with 4 accounts, with 4 level 70 shaman, which is quad-boxes and they all are elemental, with the exact same gear, and all he does is gank ppl doing dailies. I thought nothing could be more fagatronic in WoW then that…seeing this guy really makes me realize…that as bad as I am when it comes to playing WoW, raiding 4 nights a week when I was raiding for about 20 hours a week (not including dailies and pvp)…that I’m not even that bad haha. And this only further adds to my theory that if you play a shaman, you should be burned in a big fucking fire. GFG.
on October 12, 2008 2:49 am
realy nice set up, wow to the limet, thumbs up
on October 12, 2008 3:00 am
So basically he’s found a way to remove the only redeeming feature of a MMORPG, the social aspect.
Nice.
on October 12, 2008 3:10 am
what a winner.
Prepair for liftoff.
on October 12, 2008 3:14 am
What no one has mentioned is how hilarious this is. What do 36 shammys doing chain lightning look like anyway! How about 144 totems droping all over the place.
What’s really sick is if he had 36 mages in AV doing arcane blast at the same time. Four open slots to watch, lol!
PvP vids please!
on October 12, 2008 3:25 am
if you read the post the guy is not called bradster… bradster just posted the stuff the guy gave him.
on October 12, 2008 3:32 am
Haha! Great! Good luck!
on October 12, 2008 3:43 am
If he can spend $5711 per year on hobby he is doing alot better than most of us.
on October 12, 2008 3:47 am
Hmm… If I can manage to get a job like his, where he can spend 5k a year on this… Damn, I would say that was success.
I don’t play any MMO’s, mostly because I’m a student, and don’t have the cash, but he’s clearly on more than 30-40k a year to be able to spend that…
Not how I would spend it, but well done on being able to do it…
And for the ZOMG TOUCH A GIRL! crowd… how many ‘girls’ have you touched? This guy is married, so he’s clearly had his ‘fair share’…
on October 12, 2008 3:56 am
Hell Yeah! If anything this guy is a hero!
on October 12, 2008 3:57 am
Just found this on delicious – I’m not a gamer, so any turf wars between different games are beyond me. Nevertheless, I find it interesting that he obviously has a healthier relation to his hobby than most commenters seem to have. Sure, there are cheaper hobbies. Like knitting. How many of you knit? See, a “hobby” usually constitutes sth that fulfills you on one level or another, for others to judge its validity is arrogant and stupid. Unless his wife sleeps under a bridge because $5000 was their livesavings, then this’d be a different matter. Doesn’t look that way. And check his gear – collapse all the money spent on this hobby into some vintage car and noone would argue that it’s a “valid” hobby. So calling him a loser, telling him to get a life, is more of a tell on the commenters psyche, treating their own interests (games in this case) as a guilty pleasure only acceptible within limits you deem appropriate. So is this guy obsessive? Most definitely. Does he need to get a life? I don’t think so – the guy has made a life for himself where he can revel in his obsession – kudos to him. If there’s a problem with that, it’s his wife’s place to judge – neither mine or yours. I for one like crazy people with crazy obsessions, even ones I cannot wrap my head around, like online games.
on October 12, 2008 3:58 am
omg dude!! whats his brain made of?
even i sometimes having trouble controlling 1 character.
he must really had an epic brain to play all 36 characters at the same time.
ahahaha this is awesome!
on October 12, 2008 3:58 am
this is the only way to do it, he will be the first person to finish a mmorpg!!!!
on October 12, 2008 4:00 am
LoL, man all these comments make me crack up. Most saying how much a loser he is. First off, if you guys don’t play wow why are you even reading about wow subjects, you have lives? you on a website that is dedicated to gaming… You claim that he has no life cause he plays wow? or that he has an excessive amount of accounts and can afford to do what he wants? the people who call him losers what do you do in your spare time? not much i bet, except going on stupid blogs and shit and saying how much of a loser people are for doing what they enjoy. You have 8hour 7 day a week jobs and your life still sucks? I bet it does, he may be a bit over enthusiastic about what he does but u bumb your way through life doing shit jobs and wasting all on alcohol and prosties. So please save you obviously Unique comments to yourselves, put up your hobbies on a blog see how many ppl laugh at your gayness…. Exactly Now STFU
on October 12, 2008 4:09 am
lol to be honest, personally I would get so fucking bored. But as you say, everyone for their own.
on October 12, 2008 4:23 am
I like the part where the kids insulted him
cost of 36 subs a year = $5711
cost of 36 copies of WotlK = $1500
cost of electricity for the year = $740
owning hundreds of nublets without breaking a sweat = Pricess
on October 12, 2008 4:26 am
Epic fail. If you’ve got that much money and free time to waste, get a real mans addiction, like meth or crack. Not to mention the fact that you have to be the most severe case of autism ever discovered, how the fuck can you sit through the entire game as an orc shaman more than once, I got bored before that even happened.
on October 12, 2008 4:27 am
Dude, you’re worst than southpark
on October 12, 2008 4:29 am
“what a loser”…had to scroll quite far down to pass these dumb messages. I play WoW and I know it can be quite a challenge just to play one character. To play 36 at the one time, those with the dull messages don’t realize how amazing that is.
on October 12, 2008 4:33 am
I bet bradster is disabled and is on benefits and thats where his money comes from or he has rich parents/family.
fucking pathetic he should be put down
on October 12, 2008 4:53 am
@ Amazing
No, it’s still pathetic, I played the damn game for a year, it was fun. Then it got dull, still managed to have a real life too, that many accounts and identical characters is just pathetically sad.
on October 12, 2008 5:13 am
WoW is a tedious, boring, mediocre MUD for semi-literates. Best part is that his behavior is a blatant violation of the Terms of Service, but Blizzard doesn’t care, since it makes them money.
on October 12, 2008 5:28 am
BRADSTER.NET for those wondering about him.. There’s a photo too.
He also plays EQ2 according to his site.
on October 12, 2008 5:30 am
This guy sounds a bit mad really but if he is enjoying himself and not hurting other people it’s all good.
Alot of these comments I’ve read are so rude and badly written. If you’re going to insult someone atleast type it in English and not in some weird muddle of letters.
on October 12, 2008 5:47 am
36 accounts
0 girlfriends
on October 12, 2008 5:56 am
Well playing 36 characters at same time dosent take longer time then play 1 you play when you havent anything to do.
I play WoW but I have time to do outher stuff to, I work 8h a day and dosent fail at it. I´m whit friends having fun, Im at partys and stuff. ánd I have hobbys like fishing and outher stuff that cost more then WoW for me ( only have 1 acount). and it dosent looks like he is some one that eat unhealthy stuff it’s a clean desk… not even a soda can there
on October 12, 2008 6:39 am
i don’t understand why people’s commenting “loser” or “get a life”. everyone has their own thing, and if they enjoy it, let them do it
and i just gotta say, you have some insane micro skills to be able to do all that at once
on October 12, 2008 6:47 am
Awesome Setup man!!!
now im only a simple little setup.. just the 1 box and a simple /target /follow macro ;).. but i have 2 accounts that i was leveling with a couple of years ago.. (long before recruit a friend was useful)
tho i deleted one of them so i could move it to the alliance side and chat with them (PVP server)
got 9 chars here mostly over 60 .. tho only 2 of them are 70’s atm.
Anywayz just wanted to say.. ignore half of these nubs saying get a life… WOW is better then smoking pot or drinkn yerself to death or many of the other lame arse drugs around. And he is only playing 1 chars.. just all the other ones are following / doing same action as his main character.
Keep up the good work.. i understand how ya feel man.. most of the time i cbf finding a group would rather just solo it.. cos most other players are nubs that have ebay’d or power leveld n dont know how to play
… tho hope yer missus aint like mine (she hates wow…) º¿º
on October 12, 2008 7:13 am
And I can almost guarantee that if he’s got the $5700 a year to spend on just WoW, he’s probably making WAYYYYYYYYY MORE cash than everyone posting comments.
on October 12, 2008 7:34 am
I’m not put off by the setup. I say “to each his own”. Let him do what makes him happy. What I’m wondering is where do the funds come from to pay for all this? Just the subscriptions alone cost $5700 per year. Then you’re looking at all the computer equipment! And he considers $5700 to be “hobby money”? I earn a descent wage with no one to support but myself and I *still* don’t have that kind of money to spend on “hobbies”.
on October 12, 2008 8:00 am
I don’t play WoW and when I tried it once, I really hated it, but.. this guy isn’t a “loser.” At least, no more a loser than those of you who pretend to play musical instruments while playing “Rock Band” or “Guitar Hero” or those of you who think going out and playing football has any point whatsoever.
We all have our own hobbies, our own internal realities, and our own fictions. If playing WoW is this guy’s hobby, let him get on with it. If you’re jealous he can afford $6000 on his hobby, then acknowledge that jealousy, get off your asses, and actually earn more money to do what YOU want to do.
This guy doesn’t harm you by what he does, so quit griping.
on October 12, 2008 8:05 am
wohhhhhh Wow wohhhhhh
on October 12, 2008 8:06 am
This guy needs to get a life because he spends too much money on a video game? How about the people that spend their money restoring cars to never be driven again? Or how about the people who collect useless shit spending a shit ton more money doing that compared to the small amount he spends a year playing the game? Or how about the people that spend their money getting shit faced every weekend? Or what about the people that spend their money on multi-million dollar homes and hundred thousand dollar cars that will only get used once a year? Why aren’t they wasting their money? Why don’t they need to get a life? Oh, that’s right.. because Video Games are for losers and people who read a Video Game blog aren’t.
on October 12, 2008 8:11 am
I don’t get any of this WoW playing. At all. It’s so amazingly boring game. Grinding. Raiding. Grinding. Raiding. Zzzzz… been there; done that.
The best aspect of this game, as for all SHITTY games that would be SHITTY without one thing: bullying weaker players. OK, so he gets off by bullying other people. Congrats!
on October 12, 2008 8:14 am
Wow. Who says we are in a recession?
XD
And to those who are hating on this guy, I’m sure you guys have scads of girlfriends at your beck and call, right?
You internet dorks love throwing those stones living in that high glass tower of yours.
on October 12, 2008 8:25 am
That guy has some serious issues, and too much money
on October 12, 2008 8:48 am
disgusting. absolutely horrid. this drug-like obsession to world of warcraft is corrupting and poisoning the lives and souls of many. here is but a staunch example. i cannot see anyone, under any circumstance living a healthy or productive lifestyle with this display of neurotic grandeur. there is a point where we must question the values and intent of these types of situations.
on October 12, 2008 8:54 am

on October 12, 2008 9:22 am
Dude, regardless of the negative comments here, it IS a hobby, and if you have like six or seven grand to drop on your hobby every year, I say go for it.
Beside the cost… the pure technical genius of the computer setup Bradster uses makes you jealous. That’s where all the negativity comes frome… you all WANT TO BE the Bradster.
I’m telling you, any flight control agent, stock market trader or surgeon would buy that setup. Every geek that reads this would buy it. You know you want it. so stfu.
;) j/k
on October 12, 2008 9:29 am
this guy surely has no life! BUT, he’s playing passionately what he likes/does best. i don’t blame him for that!!
on October 12, 2008 9:33 am
Props to him. It’s not a hobby that I would pick up or take to that kind of extreme, but he appears to have enough money and the brains to make it all work.
Somebody mentioned a better hobby like: recreational drugs, masterbation, or a girlfriend. I would take WoW over the 1st 2. #3 is more fun, but can be more expensive than Bradster’s WoW hobby.
I question whether or not Bradster’s setup is good for anything besides raiding. And how painful is it going to be to replace hardware when the computers get old.
Definitely hardcore.
on October 12, 2008 9:33 am
how many pairs of eyes does this guy hav xD
on October 12, 2008 9:40 am
lol This guy must be loaded and all of our broke asses are saying shit about him imo we need to get a life cause obviously this dude is doing some thing right to have the cash to do all this. Those computers alone are probably 50k. This is a hobby im sure he has a fucking great job or has a buisness or some thing to be able to pay for all this shit.
Good for you man your money these losers can say what they want but in the end your the one with the $$$

on October 12, 2008 10:19 am
This is pretty sick, tho I find it uber that he could do this. I mean if he likes to do it let him? he doesn’t hurt anybody and yes, maybe he is obsessed by this but if thats how he want to live let him!
If u like it go for it!
on October 12, 2008 10:34 am

1) He has never seen a vagina.
2) The radiation from all those PCs will fry his balls quicker than a snowball on the sun.
on October 12, 2008 11:24 am
I don’t think this really qualifies as a hobby any more. This could be deemed an illness.
on October 12, 2008 11:42 am
He should use that multi-tasking skill to something more productive and meaningful like software engineering or game design.

Think about how long it takes to log in 36 accounts every day lol…
on October 12, 2008 12:03 pm
What a set up !!.. too sweet..
I can’t see anything wrong with at all. In fact it makes for interesting problem solving, getting comps to work in such a manner is no small feat. So what if he is running 36 WoW accounts. I’m thinking that he does have a life, and currently that involves him playing WoW, and most likely the dude has a GF so stop assuming that you even know him. If your cooking for one, then making a little more for two isn’t a big deal. So when he plays all 36 accounts at once, he is not only playing a lot less than the rest of you, but also getting the most out of it.
And yes when he gets bored of it, he will move on to another project with just as large intent as the last project. More power to him.
Whats shameful is all negative comments and flames, about money, time? and girl friends. I’m not sure where this stems from other than contrived envy and pure stupidity. Since when do you care about how any one spends their time? but now you do all of a sudden, with moral righteousness? Who are you again?.
Buck up, kids, Lots people will have more money than you for fun silly hobbies.

i dunno, if he has that kind of money to throw around on something as trivial as an mmo he’s probably doing better than most of the people calling him a loser

i wonder what gives people the right to bash someone elses fun.
i wouldnt be able to do this. not financially nor with the amount of multitasking this needs. if he gets his kicks with it who am i to bash it?
only the jealous would bash him for hit choice of hobby.
on October 12, 2008 1:05 pm
Why call him loser?
Isnt it his life?
So if you spend 5000$ A year on pubs, girls, booze … I can call you a loser to?
Who’s cash is it? Yours or his?
Who’s life is it? Yours or his?
If he is happy with that, then whats the problem ?
There aren’t any rules in life of what makes you a loser and what not. So the only solution is that you are either a little kid who can’t even afford 1 copy of Wow, or your just a jaleous scumbug. Actually, I think both :)
on October 12, 2008 1:12 pm
Kind of defeats the object of playing a massively multiplayer online game, if you’re not willing to to play with other players. I can think of better gaming related stuff to spend that kind of money on. The set up does look awesome in a way. Could be very fun if you got a group of mates together with some beers and snacks, each using just the one laptop/account like a normal person, but I’m guessing he hasn’t got any mates. I’ve never played WoW but I always thought the fun was going online with mates and teaming up together. I can’t see how it can be fun playing on your own.

@Dan Landis – In case you didn’t find out yet, Bradster is responsible for posting many articles about other multi-boxers on the dual boxing forums and is not the actual player or owner of those Prepared accounts. In fact, Bradster is taking a break from WoW entirely and has not been seen in game for a while.

Without saying the cliches like that this guy has no life, I can say that the guy is preety much a lunatic. He is no beter than you average heroin junky. Does he enjoy playing like this. He might as well play a single player RPG which would be more fun than doing this…

crazy setup n stuff but wouldnt it be better to put your time into studying ur family or ur work if u got one … plus i think this is very unhealthy!! such a huge amount of electric radiation man … u might get cancer one day Oo
on October 12, 2008 3:47 pm
The qualifications for “having a life” has little, if anything to do with money. If you spend all day doing one thing, whether it be WoW, building model airplanes, getting drunk, or working out/training for football, then you’re life-deficient. Obsession is unhealthy and the key to life is expanding your horizons. And your vision toward the world and life itself is almost completely limited if you only view it through a computer screen. I know rich people that have no life and poor people who have experienced more of life than most. The truth of life can’t lie in money or obsession, it lies in experience. If your experience beyond one thing is limited, then I’m sorry to say, the scope of your life is limited as well.
on October 12, 2008 3:50 pm
You guys are missing the big picture. I bet almost no one could run/set up a system like that. It is seriously impressive that he can coordinate that stuff to work.
Why do you think we have had no major improvements in aircraft since the f-15 in the late 60’s? human beings cant handle speeds that something faster could do. The future of warfare will be computerized, and your definitly joking yourself if you think someone with this ability will be worth less then say, a professional basketball player.

on October 12, 2008 4:03 pm
I guess the important question here is:
Mac.. or PC?
on October 12, 2008 4:29 pm
If the guy wants to do it, let him do it. It’s his time/money. Quit being jealous and calling him names because he can do it. Also, if he’s loaded, he probably gets a lot of women (don’t even ask how, it’s pretty obvious). So you can be jealous about that too.
As per thinking he is intelligent or should be setting up a company’s network – why? What he did would take about 2 hours tops in setting up less than $100 in network hardware (dsl/cable router and a switch, although with the cash he has, I bet he has a better hardware and connection than commodity broadband). Anyone can do that by reading the instructions and or help files if they so choose. Getting all the accounts to work together is no impressive feat either. He’s using someone elses programs/scripts to do that. As far as I know, he didn’t write or contribute to any of them. Get some tutorials and learn to play WoW and done.
on October 12, 2008 5:12 pm
I see quite a bit of noise from the “I wish I had 2 gold to rub together” crowd. Most of those that cry ‘loser’ didn’t spend much time telling us how they pass their valuable time, or how they would spend all that cash they wish they had. $475 a month is less than many car payments and vehicles also have those annoying extras like insurance, fuel, inspections, registrations, etc. I would wager that most of the negative comments come from those that have lived less than 30% of their life and have a point of view that is safe to ignore. (I also knew it all when I was in my 20’s …)
on October 12, 2008 5:17 pm
This guy is a genius, it’s a bummer to see all that intelligence wasted on a dumb hobby though.
on October 12, 2008 5:24 pm
Well he’s certainly dedicated… and he must have a good job to be able to afford all that hardware and accounts…
on October 12, 2008 5:29 pm
Agree with everyone who says that this is a valid hobby, though I wouldn’t go so far myself. Enough with the damn insults.
And for those who say that WoW is boring, meaning to say that they can’t imagine how this guy can bear playing it with 36 accounts:
Well, I’ve never played WoW myself, but I’ve played some text-based MMORPGs, which even more people find boring, including WoWers. It was fun only when you were fighting for the top place as a single player. However, I then started on using multiple accounts, and I realized that the strategies available went up by a whole magnitude.
There was soo much more that could be done with multis, it became much more strategic, much more exciting. And once you get into having 100+ accounts (which isn’t that involved with scripts in a text-based game, takes only one computer), then it’s like you’re the general in a huge army, just deploying a character as if it were an expendable soldier. It’s a lot more fun than running a single account, and requires more usage of that damn gray matter. Good stuff.
on October 12, 2008 5:30 pm
Nobody is calling him a loser because they are jealouse. They are calling him a loser because he can set up and play 36 accounts at once, but cant accomplish anything worthwhile.
on October 12, 2008 5:41 pm
Too bad those laptops arent the $5000 limeted edition world of warcraft dells. That would just be sick.
on October 12, 2008 5:55 pm
Wow. You’re such a nerd and that’s a waste of money. Donate it to the poor and homeless you a s s-h o l e! Get outside. Get a girlfriend. If you can’t, get drunk at a bar.
But you’re probably too bypolar to do anything that is REALLY worth paying money.
In conclusion,

I really wasn’t going to comment, but I’m actually amazed at how many people pass judgement on this. I think its pretty dang cool, I am scared for the world with how much hatred something like this sparks.
on October 12, 2008 6:23 pm
I’m scared for the world with so many computers draining its resources and escalating global warming.
on October 12, 2008 6:57 pm
The fact that he can play 36 chars at once is the perfect example of why I can’t stand to play MMOs anymore. They require no skill, which makes them nothing more than chat rooms with PS2 style graphics.
on October 12, 2008 6:57 pm

on October 12, 2008 7:19 pm
Well at least he didn’t switch all his accounts to Age of Conan.
on October 12, 2008 7:23 pm
Why do people care so much?
He has a hobby that he spends $500 a month on. That’s not a particularly large amount of money. There are plenty of people who spend FAR more on their hobbies.
If he can afford it, and enjoys it, what’s the problem?

on October 12, 2008 7:56 pm
my opinion(not that it’ll be read)
according to all the nooblets in here, how much of a life you have is proportional to how much sex you get. think about it. this guy can afford to drop thousands on a single game that requires no more time for him to play than it does the average 1account person. thus, he has to be loaded to manage that kinda setup. loaded = tons of money. tons of money = tons of sluts. tons of sluts = tons of sex.
also, he must have a lot of know-how to build a setup like that in the first place. lots of know-how = lots of smart girls = lots of relationships and possibly sex.
thus, according to the standards set forth by the nooblets commenting on this guy’s “loser” status, he not only has a life, he owns life.
on October 12, 2008 8:01 pm
Fuck all you dipshits. Like your life is any better than this guys. I hope you kill yourself, you rotten fucking puke. I piss in the mouth of your dead grandmother.
on October 12, 2008 8:06 pm
Calling this guy a loser is not needed or called for. If he wants to spend that much time and money on WoW then that is his decision. I only WISH that I could spend that much on my hobby, (console gaming) but because I am still in high school and dont have a job or any money. As much time as I spend gaming , I still socialize and talk to girls.
on October 12, 2008 8:06 pm
WOW WHAT A LOOOOOSSER
on October 12, 2008 8:38 pm
Sitting here calling people losers makes you less of a loser… true story!
on October 12, 2008 8:54 pm
The funniest thing about this is that WoW isn’t even fun. It’s mindless repetitive tasks over and over and over and over. It’s not even a game, all you have to do is invest countless boring hours in to suceed. Yawn.
He’s probably an accountant or something and absolutly freakishly loves his job.
For people saying ‘what harm does it do’ get serious. If you can’t see the problem with spending even 10 minutes playing WoW with a single account let alone 36 accounts, you probably have some serious issues to work through.
on October 12, 2008 9:00 pm
he should be try online poker
on October 12, 2008 9:30 pm
What a laugh. His computer setup is cool, but imagine if he was running BOINC or some sort of distributed computing platform to actually do something constructive. At the very least, hes ruining the game. Multiboxers ruin it for everyone else. In pvp, it doesnt matter how good your gear is, you cant do anything against dots x5 thrown on you. Speaking of which, his habits violate wows TOS since he uses one keyboard and mouse to control the others, so were reporting his ass. Say goodbye to your subscription cost you multiboxing piece of crap.

You know people spend thousands of dollars and hours, gambling, drinking, smoking, taking drugs, watching sport, doing up cars, building models, collecting movie memorabilia, graffiti art, sports, and a whole pile of other so called hobbies and activities, and everyone is ok with that. But dare to say you spend the same sort of time and money on a computer game you’re labeled a loser.
Let just look at this example to put it in perspective:
A pack a day smoker will spend over $5000 a year on just buying cigarettes not to mention the health cost. And you call a guy playing computer games a loser. I know which I would rather do….
on October 12, 2008 9:56 pm
This is pretty funny to me. The guy obviously has to have a life if he can spend that much money on games. Heck, even the computers to run it would be highly expensive. Or he’s a descendant of a wealthy family, but whatever.
I’ve never played WoW, but I do think this is pretty awesome. The setup is remarkable, and to be able to control it all at once is neat. Sure, I probably wouldn’t ever do it, but it’s cool anyways.
on October 12, 2008 10:14 pm
So does he cuss himself out when he wipes?
on October 12, 2008 10:19 pm

on October 12, 2008 11:25 pm
To Resto and kvn: You need to understand that going out drinking on the weekends is not the social alternative to WoW. You act as if this guy playing 36 accounts is saving him from becoming an alcoholic, but you don’t know that. There are plenty of alternatives that don’t include alcohol or video screens of any kind. I hear this argument all the time, that playing WoW keeps people from doing stupid things in RL like drinking too much or doing drugs, but I think WoW does more harm than good.
That said, I will have to agree with you about leaving this guy alone. I don’t judge people when they drink too much, or when they tell me they’re in a T6 raiding guild. I would prefer to not spend my time or money doing what this guy is doing, or my time and money drinking too much (for the same reason; afterwards, you feel terrible) but what he does with his time or money is not my choice, or really my concern.
on October 13, 2008 12:38 am
i mean i am not calling him stupid or anything but srsly 5k a year for wow! i also love the game but i am very fine with my 70 belf warlock and i dont need 35 exact replica’s of them, that would be useless. also i t would make the game to complicated to play, but if you have a good set up and you are happy with it then go ahead play on 100 computers but just make sure you remember that the game is for fun and f you are putting that much time and effort into something you better make sure that you enjoy the outcome
on October 13, 2008 12:39 am
You can argue what you want but this is NOT a hobby. He may have the money, skill etc to do this but calling it a hobby is a sign of denial. Its an addiction. A lof of the MMO playing people are addicted already ,but doing this just adds another layer to that. Do not call him a loser or a cool guy – he is a sick guy.
It may not happen this generation but there will most definetly be support groups (like AA meetings) for people addicted to games.
on October 13, 2008 1:01 am
I’m just honoured that he uses the same trackballs that I use. I only use one of course.
on October 13, 2008 1:18 am
Something to point out. Most hard core raiders or those who would LIKE to hard core raid, spend hours and hours raiding, and loot is 1. not only chance of the game dropping what you want but 2. if you roll against those of the open classes for that item, and win. In a big raid, that means you spend alot of time rolling. Or else in a DKP guild, you spend alot of time raiding simply to earn DKP so you can get the item.
Now consider the fact that, leveling is easy, especially now, in WoW. Add in the fact that the article clearly said he plans to use Recruit-A-Friend bonus leveling to level some of these characters, then add in the fact that he can appropriate loot as he sees fit, no rolling, no LFM, or waiting for raid guildies to log on, or forum arguments. Now add in the fact that.. Nobody here knows squat about his personal life, his financial situation, AND then top into that that this is an article… about a gamer. So, unless youre a gamer, why are you reading this? Whether or not you still play the above mentioned game still, you are still taking the time to 1. read this and 2. post a negative response, judging this person for his personal choices that you have no in depth details on. And as modified in the statement, he only owns 5 of the accounts. Now “only” may be a relative term as thats still alot for the average player. But once again, nobody here knows his.. Job.. his.. personal life. His social life… All anybody knows, is he has one heck of a computer set up, and has a set up that allows him to play a ton of characters at once, so the guys obviously really computer-smart. So logging on and calling names, and making financial judgements or statements about what a lack of personal life he must have, are completely irrelevant and uninformed. They may be true. and they may not be… and whether or not they are, none of it really matters, because theyre his choices to make. If he wakes up in 10 years and wonders where his life went, he is the one who will have to account for it. Not you.

on October 13, 2008 2:27 am
like he said it’s a hobby and he must have a life outside of WoW, like a job in order to pay for the 11 pc/laptop’s and all the copies of the game and all the subscription costs. It’s not just 6 grand a year. It looks like he has at least 15 grand in hardware there.
BTW i bet most of you calling him a loser don’t have a job and have your parents pay for your WoW subscriptions.
People calling this an addiction are retarded and addiction is spending $2,000 a year on a pack of smokes per day, or even more on alcohol/drug abuse. And playing wow doesn’t give you cancer.
on October 13, 2008 2:59 am
That article made me cry a little…
on October 13, 2008 4:05 am
@InnocentlyDeviant
I was thinking exactly the same thing, everyone posting here is missing sufficient info to judge.
The only thing i do agree on is, if he uses this setup outside instances to gank people it’s kinda sad and yes it fucks up the game. Besides using it for that purpose its just a strategy.
Refering to the people that say this is an addiction, i’m a wow player myself and i know how addictive this game is. Taking that into account and seeing a setup like this, the first thing that comes to my mind is that this guy indeed is addicted, but as InnocentlyDeviant pointed out correctly, we all miss the in depth info about his personal situation to judge about that.
Would i personally take it to this level? No, couse 1. I don’t have that kind of cashflow and even if i had i would find it a waste of my money. (and yes i am jaleous of him for having 8 or 9 sets where i have a set that isn’t even half of one of those) and 2. I don’t have the multi task skill to process that amount of input.
I just say live your life to the max in whatever you find important, rather than flaming other people for doing so. May it be the persuit of having as much sex as possible, owning av with 36 shamans or whatever it is that complete’s your life.

This man must be really successful in his life to afford all of that stuff, especially the equipment he plays on; why would anyone call him a loser? He probably has more money than most of the people hating on him LOL. keep hating you guys _|_ ‘.’_|_
on October 13, 2008 10:46 am
he probably gets pussy every night from all kinds of bitches havin that much money
on October 13, 2008 10:47 am
Rofl, cool.
Why is this guy a loser? He has a hobby and a wife, and apparently he’s proud to have that hobby (or else he wouldn’t tell anything about it or show pictures of his computers).
People might say that he’s a loser because he has no social-life, but come on, what kind of a social-life is it when you’re drinking your freaking brain out with a bunch junkies with no jobs??? This guy has a job and pays for his hobby, so I wouldn’t call him a loser at all. He even has a wife, w00t.
on October 13, 2008 11:30 am
This guy isn’t playing the game as much as he is keeping that hardware running.
on October 13, 2008 11:51 am
Coolest….dude….EVER!!!!!!!!
I wish that i had the money for 11 pc’s and 36 accounts – and i can’t believe that anyone actually did this….i think its very cool
on October 13, 2008 11:51 am
That is a lot of /ignore’s!!

SAM DEATHWALKER KING OF ONE MAN BURST DPS!!!
Oh…wait, thats EverQuest. And that dude only 24 boxes.
YOU’RE OUTCLASSED NOW SAM!
on October 13, 2008 12:45 pm
I have tried to do this before in like 2005. I got upto 10 accounts running at once with a program called “Mimic” and gave up. Plus then I got married and agreed to go down to 2 accounts, heck saving 120 bucks a month is a decent dinner for 2 for me and my wife. And I like to score points there.
I say to each his own if that makes him happy then by all means do what makes you happy, life is too short.
I do have a setup that I currenly use that is like that when I had my 10 accounts however, i turned most of the space and hung a couple of Tv’s so when its football season I can watch my games on the weekend and still raid and keep up on both.
All I ask is you dont make your seat a toliet, nothing good can come from that. lol
on October 13, 2008 12:50 pm
Before you bash Bradster, take an elementary reading and typing class. It’s so hard to read some of the posts; it makes me sad to know how dumb America is today.
on October 13, 2008 1:08 pm
If he can play all those people and still pay his WoW subscriptions and electric bill on time, more power to him. The fact that it’s Horde brings him down a notch for obvious reasons. All I have to say is I’ll be sure to look out for his massive raid on Stormwind. That’s going to be a lot of server lag…
on October 13, 2008 1:49 pm
that looks like one hell of a command center.. Drive on dude! But remember that there is a life outside of your command center
on October 13, 2008 2:39 pm
He I’s a poor litle complexed guy that can’t find any other purpose in life so don’t be so crule to him…
on October 13, 2008 2:45 pm
To all you calling him a no-life. What if he has a life? What if his life is this? Just because he did good and got money doesn’t mean he has to spend it on what you think is best. Let him be.
on October 13, 2008 2:53 pm
lols hey “English Please…” how long did it take you to type that perfect little post, i bet you made a little brainstorm and outline then proofread your rough draft before posting this.
on October 13, 2008 3:12 pm
Me… I find it frikkin hilarious that everyone is so down on this guy.
Yeah he plays 36 accounts… yeah it’s a boat load of money… so what?
Why get your panties in a bunch over it?
We live in a country where thousands of people lose a LOT more (than what he pays) per year while gambling legally (Vegas and otherwise)… some people pay even MORE than that per year with the nation’s next-best form of legalized gambling – insurance.
It’s impressive that he’s got the set up, don’t get me wrong… but in the end… the only person he’s hurting is himself…
I’d love to try a set up like that… and have been tempted to try my hand at dual or triple-boxing… but I know MY limitations… I don’t think I’d have the time or patience to run 36 accounts.
So far as WoW-haters are concerned… more than 50% of former WoW-players that left the game to play AoC returned to WoW… Warhammer WILL be a solid game… in about 6 months to a year once the developers get their heads out of their asses and stop trying to compete with WoW…
Not only that… 11 million+ users world-wide and steadily growing… no other MMO can boast that… hell Bioware just hit 4 million with all of their games COMBINED… there is no game in existance that is a threat to WoW.
THE most hilarious part of that pic of his ‘work’ station (as was pointed out before) is the copy of Evercra-… EverQUEST on his desk.
The funniest part is… it’s propping up the laptop it’s under… the game has been relegated to ‘doorstop’ status! ROFL
on October 13, 2008 3:57 pm
dude give me one of your accounts
on October 13, 2008 4:40 pm
I can’t believe you guys actually think this is real.
on October 13, 2008 5:00 pm
all the “looser” and “get a life nerd” shit pisses me off. This is a hobby, how much time you spend on it its totaly up to you, there is a reason why ppl play the game a lot, maybe becus its a good game ??
And if you are so f****** jelouse at this guy, why dont you move your ass out of the hous and read a book, maybe then you will have the chance to become as smart an rich as this guy. Call him what you want, but making that shit happening is inposible unless you have done some seriuse studdy in the past.
I do admire him. And i think his gonna do much more then multiboxsing in the future.
on October 13, 2008 5:17 pm
this ‘get a life’ bullshit is hilarious as i’m sure most of the kids spouting ‘get a life’ will never have the technical know-ho or the cash to do anything remotely similar
their entire lives.
on October 13, 2008 6:43 pm
Just a quick note to all of you who have no idea wtf you are talking about…
Yes, as stated previously he uses 1 keyboard to control all 36 characters… hence he spends the same amount of time playing that most people do. Less because he can skip all the waiting around in lfg.
It is clearly stated that he used the Recruit-a-friend bonus to level. For those of you who don’t have friends they can recruit (most likely those of you spending your friday evenings at piss-ups getting wasted off your nuts), this means 3x exp, which means he levels 3 times faster than the average player. Anyone see my point here?
He actually spends less time playing wow than most hardcore single account gamers.
His setup is brilliant, and all I can say is: dude, if you have the 5k to spend on WoW a year, wanna give me a couple thousand to buy a car? :P

On a side now
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE HEAT THOSE THINGS PUT OFF?!
on October 13, 2008 9:29 pm
If you are into PVP then you rather play WAR! its way better than WOWs but then again. You cant play WAR with 36 accounts at the same time.
on October 13, 2008 9:59 pm
too all these people calling this guy a loser etc..
u ever think maybe he is sitting there reading this thinking the same thing about you?
i know i am.. what gives anyone the right to call someone a loser just because they have a passion about something? whether it be stamp collecting vintage cars, comic books etc?
but ye anyway u keep on flaming people to make yourself feel better about yourself..
in reality your just one of those people who always gotta make other people look bad in order to try and make yourself look better.
on a personal note: i think this is pretty cool! would love to see it in action!
on October 13, 2008 10:11 pm
remember kids there are people out there who pay 12 million dollars for a painting…
so 5k if you can aford it not that sad
on October 13, 2008 10:29 pm
Most of you seem to be saying this guy doesn’t have a life. I don’t see the point in making fun of him. If he’s happy doing it, grats to him. I think ya’ll need to grow up and/or mature. Maybe think someone else doesn’t get the same enjoyment from the things you do.
on October 13, 2008 10:55 pm
This guy is on my server, US Aegwynn for those who wanna meet him.

wow…. imagine 36 NE strippers dancing at the same time….
wait what am i saying! you loser!!!!!!
on October 14, 2008 12:56 am
He plans to buy 36 lich kings when the store opens LOL. Sadly almost every single store i know always limits 1-2 per customer especially on games like this.
He will have to drive to at least 15 diff stores to buy all 36 copies.
on October 14, 2008 12:57 am
He should be winner or hero in the World of Warcraft.
He could be loser in our World.
on October 14, 2008 2:36 am
wtf! wasting money, wasting time , you must did this to get everyones’ attention, you must go out from time to time, there is life out there you know, friends? family perhaps? WoW is game not real life !
on October 14, 2008 2:44 am
Currently WOW has a promotion called Refer-a-friend. Refer-a-friend lets you send a WOW trial key to a friend’s email address. Refer-a-friend offers some bonuses on the 2 accounts – for one, they level together at 3 times the normal speed, although this only lasts till level 60 (the current cap is lvl 70). When your “friend” takes out 2 months of paid time, your own account gets gifted 1 month. Finally, for every 2 levels your “friend” earns, they can “gift a level” to a character on your own account. So if you have 2 friends that are level 60, they can gift a character on your account from lvl 1 -> lvl 59 in a few clicks of a mouse.
The best way of levelling is to use a higher level character to boost up to 4 of these accounts at once. With 300% levelling rate, you can use this technique to gain 20 levels per 8 hours.
36 characters is 9 groups of 4 or 216 hours of playtime. At 4 hours a day, that’s 54 days of playing (till lvl 60). But I’m going to guess that he had help.
Few other things.
Because of the powerful macro system in WOW, it’s very easy to control 36 characters at once. You sit on your main character and press a button and a piece of software repeats your keystrokes to all 35 other copies of WOW. Because it doesn’t use any automation, this method is legal.
WOW has a moderately powerful macro system. It has commands that let you do things “follow where this guy goes” or “select the same target as that guy”. By triggering these macros with his keystrokes, he can command all his characters with very little need for micromanagement. So triggering the “follow me” macro; you step left, 35 characters step left.
Your main character selects a target with your mouse. You press a button and 35 other characters select the same target. You cast a spell. 35 other people cast a spell.
The class he’s playing (Elemental shaman) is very popular with people who like playing multiple accounts because it’s extremely simple to play and can be 90% effective with just 3-4 keys.
Just 4 accounts focussing 1 target could bring it down in under 5 seconds. 36 accounts aiming for 1 player is like using a handgrenade to kill a flea – so I guess he has 3-4 “control chars”.
The control chars wouldn’t even need to be him. He could define that 9 could follow someone else, copy their target, and attack their target.
So why do you do something like this? PVP. You see someone, they die. You can kill them before they even get a chance to attack. It’s also kind of funny watching it.
on October 14, 2008 3:28 am
i’m impressed to…..he’s a genius…..for all of you who make him a “retard” i must say…..you are the retards…..you don’t have the right to judge him or to mock him….it’s his life and hes money…..what’s youre version of a “life”…..getting drunk and going in nightclubs to see some tired old hockers dance on a dancefloor or to stay old night on a bench in a park with all your “friends” and drink vodka or other sheat you may drink?……i think your life is SAD not this guy’s. I’m sick of you “social” people. Some said that he never got laid……if he has so much money for wow he surely has 100$ to get laid all night.
on October 14, 2008 4:58 am

I prefer “Hello Kitty Island Adventure”.
on October 14, 2008 7:32 am
rofl godey, dude, wow, your grammar is atrocious for one. Secondly, you’re making fun of people for having a social life? You think it’s sad that people go outside and have fun with friends? Seriously dude, it’s healthy to do so, if not for your mind so you don’t get cabin fever then for your body cause you’re not sitting at a computer for hours on end getting fat and not out having a life with friends.
But it’s no big deal, you’re probably 12 and get made fun of at school constantly so you hide in WoW to feel safe, that’s cool. You should grow up and realize that going out with friends is much more fun than sitting at home alone.
on October 14, 2008 8:01 am
Meh I say to each his own. I work 40+ hours a week. Spend time with my fiance outside the house and in-game since we both have WoW accounts. I frequent the gym 4days out of the week using my LA Fitness membership. Spend time with my friends, we play cards one night out of the week. And I have 5 level 70 char’s. While being a active Raid Officer in my guild.
So would you say I have alot of time for WoW, WHILE having a “life” aswell. Truth is it takes little to no time to level in WoW. And while I only have 1 account and play one char at a time, it clearly states that he plays them all SIMULTANEOUSLY!
Which with his Octopus program is just the same as playing ONE char and having all its actions mimiced.
So to all those who talk about how time consuming it is your obviously to ignorant to even begin to understand what hes doing. Only smart enough to use four and five letter words to sully his name and hobby.
Some people hunt as a hobby are they any better then this guy spending thousands of dollars on ammo, guns, gun repair cost, gas, hunting gear, bait, stands, & not to mention thier taking joy in ending the life of unsuspecting animals. But this guy cant enjoy spending thousands on a harmless game.
I play WoW alot. PRetty sure not nearly as much as he does and some of my coworkers hear me and other coworkers who do play talk about it and say its a stupid hobby but thats just proof that no matter how into something you are others who dont understand it while bash you.
Its like racism people are ignorant to the things they cant comprehend so react negatively towards it. What you people are doing is a form of prejudice whether you realize it or not(most probly dont) but to each his/her own. If you want to blow money on WoW Bradster then do so. Your no less cooler then people who blow money tricking out thier rides, or people who blow money on drugs to get thier fix. Addiction or Hobby its all a matter of opinion. But thats the funny thing about those. Everyone has one and we all seem to think ours is right…
on October 14, 2008 8:30 am
I play wow, have 2 lvl 70’s and a 60. Been playing on and off for a year. I have a girlfriend. A fine one at that. I go to school full time and I work part time. Im 20 and my girlfriend is 26. Were not fat, nor pimpled faced. Soo.. whos the loser now?
on October 14, 2008 8:31 am
Wait…more expensive hobbies? I don’t know of many hobbies that cost $475 a month. Hell, I write music for a living and on average I spend maybe $200 a month if I’m buying equipment on a regular basis. This is just ridiculous.
on October 14, 2008 8:50 am
I just lost the game
on October 14, 2008 9:35 am
this sooo reminds me of that Southpark episode…would imagine he has a hooker take care of business if he can afford this type of gaming.
btw..I know plenty of poeple with just one account in an MMO that spend 12+ hours a day online…
the number of accounts and his passion for the game doesn’t make him a fruit, it’s the crusty peejug you can’t see in the photo that does it.
either way ++ for commitment dude!
on October 14, 2008 9:42 am
You guys are full of jealousy and loosers your self.
I doubt that guy can be a looser if he have so much money to pay 36 accs and buy all that equipment. So he owns you long way.
And infact he needs to play much less then average wow player, so I cant see why he is looser, but I can see that you guys are small jealousy children who wish they had as much money and free time as that guy :D
on October 14, 2008 10:52 am
Has anyone even thought that ’some’ of this picure is fake? if you look at the monitor on the far left it doesnt look like its being held up by anything and plus that smae char on every screen is a little funky and that white wall? also looks a bit off.
on October 14, 2008 10:53 am
Oooh boy, and I thought your average WoW addictee was bad. What person in their right mind spends $7200USD on a game in a given year, as a hobby?
It’s cool that’s he’s set up the computers to do it, but then his reasons for doing it just boggle the mind. Surely this is somewhere on the list below owning a 911GT3 RS AND R35 GTR?
on October 14, 2008 11:42 am

Hello,
“Prepared” is the person that 36 boxes World of Warcraft. I’m simply a forum mod that posted the blog about him on the boxing site.
I’m a 5 boxer, which may of been part of the confusion.
on October 14, 2008 12:47 pm
Wow….and to think that’s just this guys WoW accounts…did anyone else notice the Ever Quest box one of the laptops is sitting on? The hardware is pretty impressive though.
on October 14, 2008 1:00 pm
Yes, I updated the story quite a few days ago. It’s funny how many people obviously don’t read the whole thing. I didn’t change the original story because I don’t believe in stealth editing or in making people’s comments not make sense to future readers.
In summary, let me repeat again that Bradster is NOT the owner of the 36 accounts. Please take the time to read the whole thing before commenting on Bradster’s habits. He only 5-boxes, so if you want to make fun of Bradster, at least make fun of him a little more accurately.

While I think this is ridiculous I still wouldn’t post comments somewhere with the sole intention of insulting someone.
So grow up and stop dumbing down the internet. Seriously something must be done to take away internet-access from all those brain-dead 14 year old kids.

Buttttt on the other Hand he’s brilliant…I mean…He must be the owner of much money…The electric bill…the Pc’s (most of them are notebooks…not very cheap!), The game itself…That’s what i call passion! And he’s definitly not a total whacko…Try to manage to play with 5 Chars on the Same time…impressive!
All in all…He’s seems to be a frikin impressive, very sick, addicted nerd….. :)

Awesome. You should fraps your raids and publish them, the cunts whining here will probably be amazed. A++.
on October 15, 2008 5:06 pm
This guys is an idiot. You all talk as if multiboxing is hard. It’s so rudementary these days andyone with cash can do it. Just type inhow to multibox in google and you get results. Just read and follow. So many of people have done it that if you have a question you can pretty much jump on any forum ask and get an answer. it may have been impressive in like the EQ days, but it’s simple now. Pplaying the game is simple. You create a macro and all the characters do that. It’s not hard it just requires more money that people are willing to spend on a video game.
Here copy and paste
http://www.wowwiki.com/Multiboxing_macros

on October 16, 2008 3:13 am
WTF …..
on October 16, 2008 3:53 am
The Edit says that Bradster is not the owner of the accounts, then WHY on earth would you write this to the article: “I hate those Alliance douchebags too, but I’m not about to drop $5711 per year like Bradster is…From the Bradster himself:…my 32 Shamans…” That clearly shows that Bradster is the one that owns the accounts.
on October 16, 2008 4:43 am
I heard he runs a gold selling service to help pay his WoW bill
on October 16, 2008 5:53 am
He sells gold
on October 16, 2008 6:15 am
what are you compared to space and time? nothing. you live for 80 years and you’re wasting it on something that doesn’t matter… enjoy your life while you can man. i feel very sorry for you :(

“Things you own, end up owning you.”
on October 16, 2008 10:20 am
i do not play WoW… not sure I am sad to say considering how apparently addictive it is… but looking at the hardware in the pic, why doesn’t he use a KVM and get rid of all the mice & KBs? i am guessing there may be too much delay with toggling between consoles.
on October 16, 2008 12:24 pm
Dude… I’d love to quest with that guy! No way any one with two arms could pull this off no matter how micro! I bet he has 10!
on October 16, 2008 12:43 pm
…all i can say is damn…rehab might be nice if its a addiction but this really just shows no purpose the means of being *no life*…of course this is his life and all, but what idiot could spend that much time and money just for 1 game and purpose…of course its a additing game and most play mmo i know of…but god bless man….
i aint gonna waste that much time and money into a game…now if i could run several game servers host sites and what not and make money with a huge setup like that shown ot simular…now that would be alright…dude needs to grow up…
on October 16, 2008 2:02 pm

HI GUYS, WELl first of all most of you stupid Americans have no Idea whats going in this guys mind?? Am I right? Of course.
Sex? Girls? This & that? Any American or Canadian can tell you the fucking definition of Killing a person… yea? So here what It is, you guys fuckin walk around little stupid assholes in a group and scared and shy when you´r alone.. right?
You guys have no Life, I dont care what you think about my comment, this not what Ive seen in many years and my experience. Thats how it is & how you are. People writing comments like “I would kill him.. bla bla”… you people belong into WW2, I bet you only a few know the fullform.
I dont hate girls, but girls should shut the fuck up right away because you Hornyfucks dont have no Idea what you´r talking about, getting drunk & laid is what you should stick to. Of course if anyone feels that I am not giving “you” a chance why not try doing what you are best at? Drink, Fuck?
If you think you guys are smart, your not because none of you can make a change and thats what It Is.
This is guy said It Is his Hobby, but how would you know the definition of Hobby because you all got no balls to read a book to understand but to show off as if you were the big deal.
Do you think Im a nerd or Im smart? I dont expect anything else.
Go find something to do like kill each other and stuff like that, fuck drunk girls or go smoke weed wid yo hommies but get the fuck out of it if your not into it.
This guy is not Intelligent, of course he is stupid but tell me why should he live life like you do? You fucking Americans socialize BIG TIME but why the fuck do you still kill each other in 100s every year? No one can explain this. I know.
Keep working at 7/11 and you all canadians at Tim Hortons while we try to sort your Shit out in the end. And ofcourse buy yourself Cars on lease and Houses on lease. Dont forget the Loan.
But your cool Bradster hope you didnt take a Loan XD. Wow makes you cool, dont give up on these suckaaaaaz.
Enough said *phew* Hope you guys didnt take It serious or did you?
on October 16, 2008 7:01 pm
This guy is a massive tool. I’d like to see a photo of him to confirm the image I have in my head.
Like that fatass on the southpark episode.
on October 16, 2008 7:25 pm
this proves one thing… WoW players are retards.. i rest my case… no wonder they all think everything’s a ripoff of WoW.. they FAIL..
on October 16, 2008 7:52 pm
Gotta admit, i am rather a geek myself; i used to play wow and i occasionally play role play like WoD. But he isn’t just a geek, he doesn’t just enjoy the game, that is obsession.
There are rare circumstances i can say this, but:
Dude, get a life.
on October 16, 2008 9:30 pm
Honestly, the ignorance of some people astounds me. If you think you’re that much better than “Bradster,” stop shining like a beacon of jealousy.
At least he’s put his time to something other than mocking other people for doing things they enjoy.
Simply unbelievable. If you’re filled with that much hate, I’m surprised you can enjoy anything in your failed & laughably small minded existence.
Sincerely, your best PAL, J.M.
on October 16, 2008 10:22 pm
its absolutely awesome!!!! great job ,wish I had that setup …. but seriously people whats with the get a life stuff? just to inform you playing games does not mean you have no life! I have a family ,2 kids ,I spend as much time with them as I can, I also work full time and spend a lot of time around my other family members and friends. but guess what!!! I also am a guild leader and have 12 accounts (not WoW though, not my thing) the thing is when the chores are done and all my responsibilities are taken care of and kids are asleep or not with me ie. school, visiting with family ect. guess what I’m doing? YES playing online. now one of you ignorant fools tell me I have no life……..
on October 17, 2008 1:01 am
You do realize when he is old and done with this hobby he can sell the characters…lvl 70’s are worth at least 700 bucks with all the gear can you imagine what a lvl 80 would be worth?
if a lvl 70 sells for 6-700 hundred a lvl 80 could sell for approximately 14-1500,Times that by 36 your looking at over half a million dollars.
I think its well worth it.
on October 17, 2008 4:51 am
This guy is probably a total lunatic, and despite the fact that he may be above average intelligent, and even if he has all the money in the world, that doesnt mean a thing if he can do smthng stupid like playing 36 (THIRTYSIX!!!!) WoW characters at the same time. People defending him are also lame cuz they are mostly addicted to WoW too, so they see a vindication in these pictures, and they are thinking “Hey, Im not so bad, playing WoW for more than 3 hours a day is perfectly normal”. On the other side, anyone who hasnt actually leveled a WoW character to lvl 60 or 70 cant know how long and boring that process can be; you must rly enjoy the game to go all the way to 70, I tried but the game just seemed to retarded for me so I stopped at 50 (and I had over 5 days of playing time – thats over 100 hours, imagine how many new, prettier and better games you could have played and enjoyed for that time). So yes, this guy is a BIG LOSER, and he definitely needs a professional help, same as people who are drug and alcohol addicts. This is not a hobby anymore, it is an addiction and obsession, and in the end it doesnt make any sense cuz WoW is MMO game and MMO means MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE, not MASSIVE SINGLEPLAYER ONLINE. Fkin waster.
on October 17, 2008 5:56 am
Not sure about clever. If he was really smart he would have used a KVM and just had one keyboard and mouse.
on October 17, 2008 7:40 am
What he failed to mention was that he has 12 arms.
on October 17, 2008 9:27 am
Jealousy – that’s what these whine posts are all about.
on October 17, 2008 10:12 am
he enjoys receiving world class head from all of your broke sad mothers while he conquers the WoW newbs! you only wish you had his mad skill! ahaha!
on October 17, 2008 5:18 pm
two sides to this errrr argument.
guys who go – LOSER (yes obviously their morons or just dont realize that what people think of social is just a predetermined and generally accepted method its a shit method for some and not very constructive unless you have already formed groups you go out with and thats gonna make a point at the end)
– and the people who think WOW THIS GUY IS RICH AND AWESOME AND REALLY SMART AND THUS YOUR JUST JEALOUS guess what your just as stupid as the LOSER kids because just because you do think its great and would love to have that much money etc. NOT EVERYBODY LIKES THE SAME THINGS which is a point you people make and then ignore with saying they just wish they had it all.
along with that is the fact that wow was so popular because of the social element, the fact there is other people, so hes not playing wow hes made a new game for rich guys.
as for his intelligence well theirs varying forms of it so while he can set this all up and do it (and some guy said its just all movements joined in one which would help a lot because people can only move so fast). he is still gonna be a retard at least at something.
and sure its amazing what hes doing guess but guess what its not that amazing ad it is on some levels unhealthy just the same as people who get overly fixated on bein social in the convectional way. he achieves nothing its not that great just like wow isnt that great a game and the social world the IDIOTS say he is so obviously lacking isnt that great.
GET OVER IT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HOBBIES ARE DISTRACTIONS IF IT DOES TAKE UP MOST OF HIS LIFE THEN ITS A PROBLEM and waste of a lot of money and time which could be used for many more and a greater variety of things.
hehehehehe lovely and long, it could be done better but that would be waste of time because ont all goals are worth the price.
on October 17, 2008 10:14 pm
holy god is all i can say. the money he spends in one year is our entire grant money for our medical reserve corps but if he has the stuff to spend why not. as for time spent, with his strat and stuff, my bet is he spends atleast half as much time hitting 70 per char than most people.
as for girl touching status, anything is possible.
socially he takes out the social aspect, which clears frustrations as well as fun experiences, and is left surrounded by comps.
but give the man credit, thats some crazy stuff to pull, and 20 fire elementals=owned
my only question, after devoting so much effort to this, and clearly a large portion of his focus, what does he talk about outside of the cave?
on October 18, 2008 1:40 am
Seems pretty cool. I don’t believe that he is just raiding with 36 accounts. I can definitely see this become a start to a pwrlvl/gold farming and selling service. How better to farm than to have 36 people with you killing stuff all putting it into one pool. He could easily blaze acrosss a whole zone clearing it in 10 mins. With price of gold the way it is atm he prob makes 40-50k a year farming gold and items.
on October 18, 2008 5:07 am
wow i thought i was a huge loser with no life. But not anymore! Everyday i just think about this guy as next to him i’m a stud of the universe.
on October 18, 2008 9:28 am
LOL … GO MAN !! YOU ARE A HERO …
on October 18, 2008 10:54 am
Props to you Vuedue! I haven’t read half the comments on this page but I ran into yours and I totally agree with you.
Basically, so what if he’s blowing a lot of money on WoW. He’s doing something he loves right?.. and it’s not ruining his health is it? In my eyes, whether he has 5 accounts or 36.. playing them all simultaneously is pretty neat or amazing whichever one you prefer.
Does that make him a loser for doing something he enjoys? Whether it’s games, video, hair, finger nails, clothing, girls, boys, porn, cars, sports or whatever.. if you really enjoy doing something and spend lots of time on it, I guess that makes you a loser too..
Get a life.. ya I wonder what that means and who it should be going towards.. the guy who can afford to something he loves or the one who took his/her time to leave a stupid comment about this guy.
Ya I’m defending him all right.. and I guess that makes me a loser too? Funny..
on October 18, 2008 10:56 am
Wow so.. even though this is kind of sad when we think about it, just think of the mental power it takes to control so many accounts at the same time~ I can’t even start to fathom that working..
I wonder if he’s successfully done a 10 man or higher raid yet..
Anyway, keep it up dude – you might get in the Guinness World Records.
on October 18, 2008 2:23 pm
i find it retarded that we both extreme hatred and low levels of acceptance here but its even more retarded that now we have too much acceptance for people like this. why do it? life is not just goals money winning doing cool crap etc. and whatever else this is the kind of behavior which should be discouraged because just because you can and want to doesnt mean you should and it doesnt matter if he enjoys himself there is a thing called going to far. if hes not happy with how most people play then he needs a new game. its jst another form of gluttony and the world really doesnt need people like him now.
on October 18, 2008 10:18 pm
wow? i wonder what size clothing he wears…and what kind of job he has lololol thats so pathetic
on October 19, 2008 11:09 am
People call him a loser because they’re jellous! I bet they get OWNED in most of the games they play, and when they lose they act like POOR LOSERS!!! All I can say is that this guy is frickin’ amazing to be able to play over 30 characters at once, not that I would ever want to be like him because I can’t but if any company wants to hire him to do alot of multi-tasking, this guy is king!!!
on October 19, 2008 3:05 pm
Hm, man says its his hobby, i agree that its maybe bad thing to do but its his hoby so… i even dont play games at all btw, but i hot my hobbies
on October 19, 2008 4:56 pm
I love how people are flaming him like that. Like said form other people, he has been doing it for a long time. He obviously has a life, he has a job so he can afford all of that and he is married. I doubt he spends all of his playing like you all make it seem just because he does something amazing that you are all jealous of.
on October 19, 2008 5:53 pm
I wonder why there are some just stupids retardeds in the world, that have enough money to lose their lives this way… and there are other millions who surely have betters ways to make the difference and have nothing.
Plase man, practice one x-treme sport, meet a girl, have some kids, and make at least one travel to any poor country… meet the World of Livecraft dude.
on October 19, 2008 10:27 pm
those of you who keep saying meet a girl its been said quite a few times he’s married. Which means he gets pussy folks. I’d love to point out to those of you who bar hop or smoke weed or whatever, both of those “hobbies” end up costing quite a bit of $ at the end of the year as well. Plus he cant really hurt himself driving drunk u know? Maybe at most a sprained finger:P
on October 19, 2008 11:03 pm
if i give you a dollar can you not lightening bolt me 32 times at ones?
on October 20, 2008 2:25 am
ok smartasses… if getting drunk, fighting, doing drugs, trying to be something that u are not, is life than u are the greatest losers. i used to drink a lot (i was drunk 24/7 and i am 20 years old), used to fight almost every night, wanted to be something i am not. now let me tell u something. i am hardcore wow player, yet i still have the time to watch some movie with my gf , go out with friends, doing rehearsals with my band and spend enough time studying to pass all my exams on time. now back on topic. i just admire this guy. u have no idea how hard is to multi-task on 2 PCs, not to mention on 11. someone said its easy with the key-cloning. anyways u have to pay attention to 36 characters at a time, while sometimes i have trouble watching over my 1 character. needs hell of skills to do that. this guy has shitload of intelligence, and if he can afford all that techical equipment his intelligence is not going in vain, he prolly makes more cash per month than some on u per year. that’s all i have to say
on October 20, 2008 2:53 am
Get out of the house dude and get some fresh air.. staring at the screen all day is bad and you’ll end up wearing glasses.. unless you already do?
on October 20, 2008 5:23 am
Whoa.
I’m not so impressed at the fact that he’s playing 36 accounts at once as I am about his rig of epic win. Personally, though, I’d use that rig for something more useful than WoW. Like, hacking into the Pentagon and launching nukes at random countries. :)
on October 20, 2008 6:48 am
I think Bradster is pretty cool guy. Eh plays too much WoW and doesn’t afraid of anything.
on October 20, 2008 9:05 am
Ur cool man :D
on October 20, 2008 10:18 pm
Wow man.. all these people arguing about other peoples posts. It’s the internet who fucking knew?
Hes not intelligent to be able to do that there are macros and most of them are all controlled by the same keys. And as far as money, that’s not that much money guys but fuck yea is it a waste. People waste enough of their time in their fantasy land with one character what fucking loser and financial moron makes this decision. And about finding bitches.. anybody can.. god made fat bitches for fat fucks no shit so hes married so what it’s still a fucking waste of time and money. Do something fucking productive like learn a new language. What a fucking loser
on October 21, 2008 12:59 am
Gotta love some of the people here saying that he sucks and should get a life, never been laid and that he’s a hermit and got no social skills.
Generalizing is bad.
People like you is the reason that birth control should be implemented.
Leave the guy alone, as many already pointed out all your bashing is based on fail prejudice and narrowminded thoughts produced by a brain that’s on the edge of falling into the pit of retardness.
/puke at all the bashers.
on October 21, 2008 6:29 am
lastest news is that his name is shaun esther
on October 21, 2008 6:45 am
lol acetal you just Generalized too. worse you think your being less of a basher but your not.
point yes its cool yes it is difficult and it doesnt take up as much of his life as well most people would ike to think and maybe that worse he should be by all rights a complete loser but the world is going to pot so hes not and why should he be a loser well because no one should be able to do this much easily in a world that is still far from ecnomically and socially perfect and enjoy everything with few drabacks.
well finnished for now.
on October 21, 2008 7:50 am
If you have ever played World of Warcraft you would know how difficult managing 36 accounts at once would be. I think its awesome! All the loot for yourself and if you wipe, you know whose fault it is. I just hope I never end up in the same battleground with him. :)
on October 21, 2008 8:05 am
well people saying why waiste so much money on that, mayb hes rich lol.
Ur all just haters
on October 21, 2008 9:32 am
Dr. Phil had an episode about people who are addicted to video games and I’m not Dr. Phil or anything, but I think he has a serious problem. This is WAY past being funny…It would have been funny at two computers..not 11. Sir, I’m sorry but you should really get some help. Don’t you have a family or friends or any loved ones in your life? This is right up there with being addicted to some hardcore drugs…Seriously just killing your life away, No point.
I feel bad for you dude…it’s like you are already dead rotting in hell (because thats what you are doing….rotting away)
on October 21, 2008 9:40 am
do you think he talks to himself on vent?
on October 21, 2008 10:16 am
What point is there really to life? You’re born from a woman’s womb, you grow up, and now it’s your turn to support yourself and whomever you end up living with. I think it sucks. I hate working, just so I can pay bills, so I can keep working. My daily routine is pointless. I’m not going to cure cancer, or be the first man on Mars, and when I die only those close to me will remember me. And if no one comes to my funeral, so what?! I’m dead. It’s nothing to be depressed about, but how strange it is for most of us to sign up for the life others expect us to live. As long as ‘Prepared*’ doesn’t leech off society and I’m not paying for his welfare food stamps; why should any of us criticize this guy for what he is doing? Yes 36 accounts may be a little excessive, but it isn’t a qualifier for needing to seek professional help. What would a psychologist tell him anyway? Play less and get rid of 35 of the accounts.
I’m glad he’s found happiness in what he is doing. And secretly, I hate putting up with people who disagree with ‘Prepared*’ actions, because many of you are selfish bastards who get their rocks off by yelling into vent and comparing penis sizes with others who yell into vent and think their penis is bigger. If multitasking like this, and money wasn’t an issue, I’d be there with 36 alliance accounts in addition to have my own AV sessions anytime I wanted.
on October 21, 2008 5:22 pm
This is pathetic, but at the same time awesome in the eerie geeky-as-hell sort of way. He clearly adores the game, but not to such an extreme that he’s abandoning his social life, his job, and reducing himself to doing horrible sexual favors behind an alleyway.
Also, running several computers at once always kicks ass no matter how you look at it.
on October 21, 2008 6:04 pm
go runescape! it will pwn u all!
nah i appeciate wow and this dude has freaking devoted thousands to it if not atleast 100k, i give major props to this guy for being able to pull that off
just what is ur job dude? freaking clean bill gates room for him once a month? lol
im not saying u have no life im just wondering if ur sitting on a a forture from parents or if u have some insanely awesome job cause dude a months of pay for a years of gamming!
oh and id love to see 30+ lvl 80s in a single raid, then on top of that max them all run by 1 person, makes me wana quit rs just to see that lol
as a last note, u are freaking awesome dont listen to these idiots who make stupid insults theres only 1 insult ill say and thats
WOW SUCKS RUNESCAPE IS FOR LIFE! (sry gotta show my loyalty, still love ya)
on October 22, 2008 1:06 am
omg..its way better to raid alone than play with retards like u,comment posters..let ppl play and shut up.im pretty sure he have a girlfriend and good job to pay for all his accounts, multiboxing is a next lvl..im already tired of wow so the only way to stay here is to start my 5 shamans.again :)
keep it up mate
on October 22, 2008 9:58 am
epic fail
on October 22, 2008 5:05 pm
fair play to the guy, seems like a lot of work.
kinda takes the fun out of WoW though.
on October 22, 2008 9:11 pm
Being able to raid 25man instances on your own can eliminate ‘waiting around’ problems and you don’t have to rely on other people but doesnt that also destroy the social side of the game?
It would be bad enough having no social life outside of WoW, but to purposely eliminate a social life within WoW too is just too sad to think about.
As for the money your spending, well its upto you what you do with it but i wonder if you could still afford it if you moved out of your mother’s basement!
on October 22, 2008 9:39 pm
Holy shit on a stick!!
Damn nice setup!
Keep up the work, and i would love to see you in action :P

This is the most awesome thing i’ve ever seen…. hahaha you call him a loser, if I was hiring network people i’d give him a job instantly, this is awesome….. who cares if he plays wow, man…. well done
on October 23, 2008 4:19 am
OH MY GOD thats frikkin awsome, imagine him on his 36 shammys on 70lvl doing daily quests in quel danas that gives him ~110 gold per char in ~1 hour. Multiple it by 36 chars it gives you ~4000gold per day if not farming anything else. 4000g = ~20$ . now multiple it by 360 days its ~7200 $ per year, so if we minus from it ~5800$ he spend on his pre paid cards he is still on +1400$ per year !!!! thats insane and genius at once. Imagine him farming primals all day and selling it on AH. will he be an millionare some day or a mad man with 2inch glasses on his nose ;)
on October 23, 2008 11:06 am
Perswonally i find it amazing that he could actually be bothered with the time it would have taken to actually set up the circuit nvm playing it.
as an afterthought i wonder how many fireballs would it take from totems to kill someone :O imagine being on a flying mount being chased by 36 fireballs….awesomeness
on October 23, 2008 12:15 pm
Epic.
on October 23, 2008 3:34 pm

on October 25, 2008 1:59 pm
What ever happened to trying to get laid !?!?!?!?!?!
Ive heard of ppl dedicating their lives to ONE account. I can only imagine how much pussy your missing out on with 36 accounts! Works for me. less competition :) Keep playing games!!!!!!!
on October 26, 2008 4:14 am
Wow, this is really quite a dark, bleak story. I hope this chap doesn’t miss out on some of the great things life has to offer because of his powerful obsession with this computer game.
on October 26, 2008 11:08 am
i’m thinking all those accounts and macros and programs are against the WOW rules!!!! so lol as soon as WOW finds out then his expensive hobby will be ruined ;D
on October 26, 2008 11:20 am
Analysis of his opinion:
“Not bad considering I’m looking at it like it’s a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft.”
So fucking what he has a HOBBY, leave him be. How much he spends is none of your business how much he spends. Is it your money he’s using?
If you think that he doesn’t have a life by this then I suppose buying seasonal football tickets, 1000’s of CD’s, women going shopping buying expensive things that they’ll only wear once (yes i do this -.-) is pretty lifeless too.

You have the right mindset buddy :) Don’t diss others for what they do, their choice. And tbh, he’s probabily better off playing wow and enjoying it than going and hanging out with people that will probabily lead to nowhere in the end. Of course relationships are good, and I’m POSITIVE he has them. We all do. Noone has the right to comment on how anyone spends their life.
on October 27, 2008 2:41 am
AWSOME! what he did is unique so pay him respect for that instead of bashing him.
on October 27, 2008 2:47 am
I wish I had half that guy’s skills. What are the system specs of the computers? One other thing though, where do you get your money from?
Have fun all,
Brian :)
on October 27, 2008 4:40 am
I really don’t know why people are going apeshit over his setup, it’s pretty horrible. I have built networks for wow addicts before. You don’t need 8 mice. You can use the same mouse for all your rigs with a program called synergy, just drag the mouse from one window to the next and control is given to the computer which the mouse resides, including keyboard control. I would also use keyclone instead of octopus and learn to keybind. I am sure if this guy did raid stormwind he would just last as long as it would take the alliance to pick off his buggy raid, octopus is a horrible program to use to multibox. This is sad considering the tremendous effort he has put in and I have spoken to people on other forums that play on his server and they tell me the novelty doesn’t go further than saying wow a 36 boxer.
Also he invests all this money into playing wow and is still using a 20 dollar chair, what gives?
on October 27, 2008 8:52 am
And I thought I was cool playing WoW with 3 monitors.. :-(
I want to have a tech geek orgy with him..
8======><=======8
Yeah, I went there.
on October 27, 2008 2:03 pm
in response to Rob’s comment…. u are the noob morron – he has several computers… so he cant drag the mouse across them all fag… also… so what if his chair is $20 … i got a chair that is older than me (my dad’s old one) and the thing is COMFY!…. mayeb the dude likes the chair…

And i will admit.. I r jealous!

lol, that is SO awesome.
on October 28, 2008 2:49 am
dumb idiots quite criticizing him, well we all know you will never read this. Idiots don’t read what others post lol.
Yes WoW is OLD came out in 2004 and has the worst graphics of most current free MMORPG’s come on it still uses blockiness and DX6. 2004 was the year when the worst MMORPG came out but this was the only good alternative. no their is no such thing as a WoW Clone. WoW was cloned from previous MMORPG’s.
A far greater alternative to WoW would be GWars, PvP is the ultimate goal in MMORPG’s right? so you can learn skills…..im sorry thats not WoW now is it? Wow is just overpowering others through levels, sounds noobish to me. if someone brought a gun and shot you would it matter if they shot another? do you have a higher level and the ability to handle more shots? NO. many people left MMORPG for MMOFPS since it is more realistic. You need skill not level. A total noob can own every level 30 or level 1 even if they have far greater strategies as long as he has a much higher level. Does that sound fun? I think not (Dr. Wallace Breen reference). Guild Wars only worries about skills and strategies. You can either start as maxed level and go diretly PvP or you can learn stuff and travel and quest and level up to 20 very quickly and do RPG’s? 10% of the game in RPG and your maxed level but when you beat the game it gets better. Enough reference to such game. Do you guys think that all free games are crap!!! The nerve you have to say such things to such beautiful things. Just because the newer games have far greater technology, graphics, monsters, maps, textures, and being free doesn’t mean it’s crap. GunZ is still good too its old (EuroGunZ best). Combat Arms is a lot better now. Requiem is good, Two Worlds pwns in SP RPG. VALVe games pwn all of MMOFPS and FPS glory), nDoors MMORPGS have very high quality marketing and town management systems, Perfect World is a Huge. Requiem Bloodymare is the goriest, bloodiest MMORPG, Gunbound has a nice MMO Worms-like game, Voyage Century is the best graphics for sea battles and trade, and face to face battles (level doesn’t matter here either).Look at my xfire profile for a very small list of games I have played.

on October 28, 2008 4:37 pm
Hahaha that is funny how many of you are so jealous of this guy. People posting ‘WOW GET A LIFE!’ and ‘BET HE HASNT EVER TOUCHED A GURL HUHU!’ are so insanely jealous and they can try not to show it but its obvious.
Who the hell says what a ‘life’ is? Is the point of life not to love and live life to the fullest having as much fun as possible? Maybe to him this is enough fun for -now-. Christ its not like hes fucking been playing the game for going on 15 years. I did notice alot of the people insulting him spell like they are 12 which is oh so ironic.
Also since when is getting laid the greatest thing in life that makes everything else not worthwhile? People always say that in response to ‘losers’ on WoW and such. I’ve been married for 8 years and I’m here to tell you. Getting laid stops being the ultimate experience after you’ve done it enough kids.
Seriously, stop hating on someone for their hobbies. Especially when that person is obviously worth way more money at their young age than you will ever be. And if sex is so ultimate to you, then you know having a ton of money is right next to it. This guy has the money so you know he gets the sex too =p
on October 28, 2008 10:41 pm
OMG i wanna meet this guy… i will marry him… 2 kewl.. mah hero!
on October 29, 2008 12:21 am
LOL. A real addict and a loser. Why a loser? Because using unapproved software to link several characters to only one set of controls is illegal. Blizzard will surely ban this guy’s accounts. Maybe they already did that. LOL.
on October 29, 2008 12:16 pm
hehe, playing with YOURSELF is called MASTURBATION.
on October 29, 2008 1:56 pm
To mmstick, I do have to agree with many of your points, there is however a “but”…
Many people play WoW, and they enjoy playing it. Isnt that a good enough reason to play something? I do have to add though, that I am not a fan of MMORPG’s (I play ArmA) but I do respect other people’s choices and Prepaired’s rig building/networking skills.
Chill out mate, have fun,
Brian :)

on October 31, 2008 9:19 am

And yes, think of all the pr0n he “could” potentially watch.
on October 31, 2008 9:31 am
Get out more you sad loser!
on October 31, 2008 4:15 pm
Excessive. However, the hate people are spewing is far more excessive. Completely unreasonable.
“Get a life”? Hypocrites.
Sure there are better ways to spend the time, money, etc, but I would just LOVE to see how much “better” such haters use THEIR time.
on October 31, 2008 4:51 pm
He is pretty amazing to me, if he is able to play 36 account.
Personally my opinion of him is, if he is able to play and achieve something he believe in, then he is doing a great job.
While, i would like to call the rest of the 457 comments’ poster who call him a loser should be the real losers, because you guys don’t even have a goal you can achieve with.
You might live a life doing nothing and die without leaving anything. At least, this person here did something not everyone can achieve or have the patient to even come close.
on October 31, 2008 4:54 pm
by the way, it looks fake.
It is the works of photoshop here. I can see it already.
on October 31, 2008 6:44 pm
What makes you think that it’s fake?
on November 1, 2008 4:58 pm
That guy needs somthing else to do with his time and money, sure WoW isn’t the worst thing but 36 accounts and a bunch of pcs/laptops set up to play them all at once!? You must have something missing in your life to do such a thing.
To the first wrong just above me, sure he’s set himself to doing something, and achieved it, but congratulating someone for playing a game to such an extent is really not necessary. I’d get him a shrink to find out why he would want to play 36 accounts in the first place!
Oh and before anyone wants to point out that I’m jealous or whatever, I’m way past playing mmorpgs now It’s all about the FPS.
on November 2, 2008 5:19 am

on November 3, 2008 11:26 am
lol i love how all of you call him loser, but who is the real loser here? you really think he comes back here and reads all of your lame ass stupid comments? wow. and i thought celebs thought the world revolved around them. Nice job people keep the stupidity up! :D
on November 3, 2008 11:31 am
oh and also the term Multiboxing is allowed joddy you dipshit. Maybe before you write something you clearly know nothing about, you should atleast Try to read about it.
on November 3, 2008 10:07 pm
It’s funny how people judge others on something they choose to do with their life. When it comes down to it, it’s his time, and he can spend it how he wants. Also, I can guarantee you, that he spends a lot less time than the hardcore WoW player with 1 account, actually playing the game. Reason behind that statement? He doesn’t have to rely on anyone. He can just go “Hey, I want to do this” and he can just go do it without having to look for people and check for gear. The huge time consuming thing on WoW is getting geared for raiding, this guy doesn’t have to worry about people arguing or whether or not they know what to do.
Oh and here’s a bit of irony for you guys. You say he is wasting his life away? How many of you smoke? Go calculate the money you spend on cigarettes a week, and then tell me how much you have put towards your “For when I go to Hospital” account. See who is wasting their life/money away then.
on November 4, 2008 8:26 am
I was ready to type out a huge paragraph directed to all the flamers pointing out how ignorant it was to judge this guy for what he does in his own time. A few moments later, I decided the people who I would be addressing wouldn’t understand a word of it. So I will keep it simple. That is a very nice setup of machines. I’m a little jeallous I do not have the resources to have a setup like that, but thank you for sharing that. It is indeed impressive.
on November 4, 2008 12:56 pm
tbh, that guy is pro. Try to play with 36 accounts at same time, succesfully. You will fail so hard.
on November 4, 2008 5:31 pm
Wonderful setup, I stopped playing the game several years ago but figuring out a good setup for that many instances is indeed awesome. Well done.
on November 5, 2008 3:58 am
holy shit dude!!!! who are you???
1) you r an extreme GIMP that came from the town GYMPIE
2) you r an average guy who plays wow but has more money than BILL GATES (almost) – have u seen the new voodoo omen pc… u shud buy it
You single handedly make blizzard rich… fuk over $5000 wasted on a subsricption u will never get again… ur being riped-offf
Ultimate waste of money ever…. have u ever thought about donating to charity… u could feed an entire town for a year with that sort of money….
People die while u play some stupid computer game….
FUCK ALL OF YOU GAMERS OUT THERE!!!! YOU ARE ALL SOOOOOO SAD AND ARE ALL GIMPS!!!!YOU TAKE THE FUN OUT OF GAMING!!!
i have a ps2 and play it for 2hrs a week only when i have nothing better to do…. not for fukin 40hrs a week like hardcore losers do…
on November 5, 2008 9:30 am
Slightly disturbed but impressed, as someone said! My thought was that “whoa! Here’s that hive mind! A whole group controlled by one mind (it’s a bit of cheating if the scripts are too intelligent though). I wonder how his “hive” would do against a similar party of characters with individual controls?
on November 5, 2008 10:18 am
truly impressive, for real, really amazing to do all those things at once.
on November 5, 2008 10:58 am
This is the saddest thing I have ever seen. I have one character, at level 70, in which I put 10 days of play time (including raids and helping guild and explore and stuff) and I am just about finished with this game (might pick up the expansion in a few months, might)
To think that someone has all this initiative and this is the best he can put it to use, well, therapy time. No he doesn’t have a job/family, how could he?
on November 6, 2008 6:11 am
I would’t call him a loser, I’d rather call him a very sad, very lonely and very misguided individual that seriously needs to get out more.
Spending that amount of money on a game per 6-month and disguising it under the banner of “hobby” is actually just addiction coupled with denial.
This is a very sad person that needs a lot of help.
on November 6, 2008 1:47 pm
For all of you who say it’s “fake” go look it up on WoW armory. If you dont know what that is, then dont complain about fakeness.
Personally I think he needs to find a less expensive hobby, since it is a subscription and sooner or later WoW will die. Which is when bliz will release a new type of WoW.
on November 7, 2008 12:22 pm
Seems that everyone likes to defend World of Warcraft. Saying as such that any other game is a ‘rip-off’. Get your facts straight. Blizzard was one of the last publishers to involve this sort of fantasy series. Tolkien’s writings date back to the 50’s and even they took parts off of Greek mythology.
Hell, use Google and type free MMO. I guarentee that you will find 50 other games that have the same interface. WoW was not original, trust me on that.
Back on subject, if the guy has the money more power to him.
on November 7, 2008 1:14 pm
Lol!
There are things called girls in real life, Bradster.
on November 7, 2008 2:58 pm
Now thats dedication is more of us had that type of dedication the world would be better place
on November 8, 2008 3:56 pm
must laugh at that last comment. yup boundless determination thats what we need because with a world full of morons and assholes and very selfcentered and ambitous people(the ones who see only their goals) giving them the will to try endlessly doing things would help everyone.
yup thats it.
on November 8, 2008 4:00 pm
in case a smart ass comes along (yes if you think it your part of the ass gropu not the asshole group the ass group) given that i was talking about the other guys comment using determination instead of dedication doesnt matter.
on November 9, 2008 9:43 am
ohhh man!!!
what a fucking ammount of money did u spent in it??
O.O
loser…..
on November 9, 2008 3:39 pm
Just as he says, it is a hobby, there are people that are more obsessive about their hobbies and spend a lot more money then he has on his hobby, so for all of you people that say he should get a life, F off
on November 10, 2008 7:51 am
Have you people read the commenting rules!
First things it says is:
“No hate speech” and “debate intelligently”.
Stop flaming a guy that wastes his spare time playing a mmorpg, its his money, his choice, his life, he can do whatever he wants with it, including watching 36 characters make totems and run around a virtual room.
WoW has been out for almost 4 years, and this guy could have been playing since the beginning.
The record time for soloing to 60*36 is only 4176hours, spending 3hours a day playing, it would take just under 4 years, but since this guy had higher chars to help the lower ones, it should have been possible to get 36 lv 60’s in just over a year and a half of playing 3hours a day, so realistically this guy could have made all his characters only playing for 2 hours a day, for 4 years, including the fact this guy doesnt bother with armour.
This still adds up to 1,460hours of WoW, but in a year people with full time jobs work 2-4 times that many hours.
With the gold this guy can make, and sell, he could probably make a profit off 36 subscriptions.
Well anyway, basically, if you are so bored like I am that you spend hours on a blog board posting about WoW then just playing WoW is a relief.
This guy could easily have a huge life outside of WoW, yet you see 36 accounts, and tonnes of windows, you automatically assume that its WoW obsession.
-Turnni1
on November 11, 2008 7:48 pm
Why are you telling him to get a life? He has 35 more than any of you do
on November 11, 2008 10:20 pm
Okey okey, first off this is just a hobby so chill people. Also, all of you are hating on him because you want that life and cash. You say use to for something else, like what? Food, so you fat a**’s can eat and have a no life also?
Well okay think what you want. But i can tell you that theres more pathetic people then this guy. And if i were to ask you guys to set up a station like this, you would become dumb-struck and fail miserbaly.
So stop hating on him, and debate intelligently like the Commenting Rules State, “No hate speech allowed. If you must argue, please debate intelligently.”
Thats it for me, and stop hating! (BTW if you didnt get the picture, i suppose this guy 95%,[other 5% of him is stupidity])
on November 12, 2008 8:59 am
This is full of win.
Once I finish my math degree and get a job that pays more than you envious 14 year old kids I’m going to do exactly this. Then post it on the internet for more of you whiners to cry yourselves to sleep about while you dream about having that girlfriend you bash him about not having.
on November 12, 2008 11:23 am
Actually trying to pull something like this off could make me interested in playing again, it looks like a really ambitious, cool, and creative thing. Of course, I couldn’t even afford it. ;-)
on November 13, 2008 6:20 am
Not that hard to do what this guy does. And he could have a job/life/wife, becouse think about lvling with 36 accounts all toghether. U get too 70 in about 2-3 hours. :) Soo i guess he doesn’t play 24/7 like other addicts becouse playing with 36 acc at the same time makes the game easier. I think the name for this person would be “cheater”.
on November 18, 2008 4:58 am
Well, as i said there are alot expenciver hobby’s and whos the one that should get a life if you just sit at your computer athome whining at people like me, whos the one that shall get a life ?
on November 18, 2008 10:09 pm
yo…this is like interesting. I never thought someone could multitask more than me and believe me I do alot but wow is all I can say. Honestly though that’s alot to be spending on WoW.
on November 19, 2008 12:58 pm
I just want to declare that most ”arguments” here are really lame. I can agree with both sides on different points. It might be hard to imagine for a nature man who spends his life out in the forest or a party dude who doesn’t know the meaning of home sweet home that this guy has a life, but people, everyone is different.
If this guy has other stuff to do aswell, I wouldn’t blame him. This is his choice, c’mon. Stop being asswipes. I personally don’t enjoy gaming that much, I’m more of an outgoing person but sometimes it’s really nice to sneak away from reality and just dissappear into the world of mmorpg. I’ve played wow, reached lvl 60 when it was the highest, and so on… But it definitvly didn’t make me a nolifer. I played during free-time when there was time over, nights when I didn’t see my girlfriend or any friends.
People, there are just too many sides to this. I will though give him credit for maniging this, not many average persons would have the intelligence for this…
on November 19, 2008 6:45 pm
Leave this guy alooone, he know what’s he’s doing and if it’s his goal then let him be.
Doesn’t hurt/benefit anybody but himself.
on November 20, 2008 11:06 am
“Whore”, “crazy man”, “douchebag”…? What is your f*cking business about what the guy does with his money? If he can and does play 36 WoW accounts simultaneously on his pimped-out system, that doesn’t make him a “whore”.
on November 20, 2008 1:41 pm
Yeah, and if a women plays 36 penises at the same time, that doesn’t make her a whore either.

I just want to say that the people who are taking the time to post are the same players in World of warcraft who take the time to make Negative comments to anyone they cross paths with in chat and/or groups just because they have such anger in them because they are sad about there own lives.Seriously you need to become a happy person rather to resort to being a Drama Queen and trying to make anyone feel bad for anything they do.You are not better then anyone in this world if you are a angry Child who has childish outbursts to try to make people feel bad for what they say or do.Please take the time to look in a mirror and decide to change yourself for the better rather then try to change anyone else. But i know for all you grown up kids on this post, all you will do is bash what i say here for no reason what to try to make yourself look cool in the eyes of whom? a bunch of kids?
Do what makes you happy and only God can judge you in the end.Treat people and the world right and your on the right path.
on December 2, 2008 1:45 pm
Everyone wants to look cool for the kids. After all, the children ARE our future.
on December 2, 2008 3:22 pm
okay honestly dont ye get it, 36 accounts is ove the top no matter how little time he plays and as one person said is cheating.
the people who post here are nearly all wrong, people judging whatever his name his for this (wrong given its cheating choice) and those who h=judge them, your all doing the same things, maybe the juders of the judgers sound more reasonable and right but that just makes their flawed piont of view even worse.
YOUR ALL THE SAME, MYSELF INCLUDED.
on December 2, 2008 4:39 pm
Actually, i’m pretty impressed with the guy.
Like he said, there are more expensive hobbies than this, and while it’s arguable they would be more self-rewarding, that is ultimately up to personal judment. I mean, how is skyjumping from a plane, or watching some fishes at 30m underwater any more rewarding ? Been there, done that. And while it’s a rush at the time, it still does you little good the week after it.
And that is not even considering most people hobbies such as going to a bar or watching TV … which are REALLY self-rewarding [/sarcasm]
I was a WoW player, kind of enjoyed the game untill i reached high level (60 at the time) and was forced to party to continue. I really can understand how one comes down to viceraly HATE “people” in WoW when faced with some exemples of stupidity and/or carelessness that not only makes you waste whatever time you spent on the game, but also wastes your evening at the same time.
I prefered to quit the game alltogether than what he is doing.
I’ll admit, i did not have the money for this kind of option so it wasn’t really a choise (though, i could have tryed dual-boxing … too late for that i guess).
on December 3, 2008 3:42 pm
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the expense and time investment in hobbies like this, but what I DO find sad is the antisocial tendencies involved. Not only can this guy apparently not socialize with people in the real world, he is SO antisocial he can’t even play with them on a video game. Instead of organizing friends to raid which is MUCH more fun he has to make 36 clones of himself? That is absolutely pathetic, he needs to go to a psychologist.
on December 5, 2008 11:49 pm
He should just hire some power leveling services to bump all his toons to lvl 70! then pay for them to be bumped to 75,000 honor and THEN pay for them to be arena geared for 1800+ ratings….
If he has the money for 36x that. Which would usually cost like 500$ per account so thats 36×500 = 18,000$
goodluck Bradster, you can be NUMBER 1 by putting all your savings into a game…
Amazing set up
But to the Original poster you apparently haven’t been through math class yet
13.99 plus tax comes to around 16.31 give or take
so 16.31 x 12 = 195.72 x 36 = 7045.92 give3 or take. Please explain how you got 500 a year for WoW and please explain how you come up with 18 grand
on December 6, 2008 12:18 am
I’m not sure what numbers you are talking about. On a six-month plan, the rate is $12.99 per month and there is only tax for a select few states — most people pay no taxes. $12.99 x 12 months is $155.88, and that multiplied by 36 accounts is $5611.68. The dude himself said it cost $5711, so maybe that was a typo, but either way it is not $7000+
The guy talking about $18k wasn’t talking yearly costs, he said that’s how much it would cost for him to pay someone else to power-level all of his characters to save time.
on December 6, 2008 9:22 am
