Forget Yo’ Street Dates! GameStop to Sell Call of Duty: World At War Early

Hot off of the Fallout 3 street date news from a few days ago, it seems that GameStop is following Wal-Mart’s lawless ways and is setting out to break street dates- with a twist.
According to PlanetXbox360, GameStop will be selling Call of Duty: World of War (note: Stop calling it, COD5, it’s not COD5.) at 5PM on November 10th, which is a day early. Though they wouldn’t usually announce this, it turns out they’ve harbored a deal with Activision in which they’re going to be allowed to sell the game a day early. Whoopee.
If you’re still in love with World War 2, or just in love with Call of Duty, you might want to go preorder at GameStop so that you don’t have to bother with midnight sale madness. Go on, get to it!

Nazi Zombies? wha…? Treyarch,I don’t get it.
And what’s with the cheap Independence Day music?
I can easily Imagine the brainstorming sessions for this…
The strategy of alternating the two developers is ok,but it ultimately could lead to deterioration of the name of the franchise.
I see less people buying COD6 after COD:WaW.
I think I’ll pass and wait for Infinity Ward,sorry to sound so simplistic,but that’ll be the good one.

1. Nazi Zombies- no one has to explain that. It’s like Surfing Nazis- it’s part of the unwritten Rule of Cool™.
2. Independence Day music during a World War? Insanity!
3. People will buy COD5 after WAW, because Activision will still make another Call of Duty called COD5. They don’t want Treyarch’s game to be numbered so that they can continue the franchise as their own, numbered.

1-A taste affair,not cool for me.More like absurd anticlimax.
2-Sorry,It just sounds like a generic & dull patriotic 90’s movie to me in the few videos I saw;see point(1)^
3-Didn’t know that.Doesn’t change the fact that my opinion is,I prefer the work of I.W. over treyarch.

I rectify;That wasn’t fair nor true for any editor,I do apologize.
But it just feels very uncomfortable to have to justify every word,bow every minute,and explain every word that is expelled even if it’s a matter of personal preference.
I think I’ll stick to any other place,but ironically,every consumer & industry site is the same these days.Everybody tries to stick their phallus up your ear just because you have an opinion.

Whoa now, opinions are always welcome. I never passed judgement on your opinion as to how World at War was, I was just trying to say that a) I think nazi zombies are bitchin’, b) Don’t all war games have Independence Day music? and c)It’s not going to be COD6.

I don’t welcome opinions other than my own (fanboys have told me that on numerous occasions), so I can see how you might think that everyone on the site is like that. I’m pretty sure it’s just me though.
