Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Ships Today: Prepare to be Currinated

After a seven year wait, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is finally shipping today, to be released on October 30 for PC, worldwide. The XBox 360 version is set to follow suit on 11 November. That’s right, it’s almost time for Tim Curry, the world’s most Russian-looking non-Russian, to take the world by storm once again.
Besides Mr. Curry, the game stars Gemma Atkinson, Gina Carano, Randy Couture, Kelly Hu, Jenny McCarthy, Jonathan Pryce, Autumn Reeser, J.K. Simmons, Peter Stormare, and George Takei. Not only does it have probably the best cast for a videogame ever, but the dark humour and downright silly full-motion video sequences are set to blow everyone’s minds. Chris Corry, executive producer of the game, had this to say about Red Alert 3:
“Our goal was to strike a balance between being true to our roots – that unique, light-hearted tone and fast-paced Red Alert gameplay – and bringing a feast of exciting new RTS innovations to the table. The deep story, the star-studded cinematics? That feels like Red Alert. But bringing naval gameplay into the heart of the game design and launching the player into an ambitious and engaging co-op campaign? Gamers have never seen anything like this before.”
Not only this, but each copy contains a free “Women of Red Alert 3″ poster, a code for Kossar’s Helm (an item for Warhammer Online), and the ability to turn your WAR characters into a bears. Tim Curry and bears? Now that’s a deal.

I am very much looking forward to this title. The cut-scene wackiness – I don’t know. In the past I could give a toss but seeing as how the cut scenes are more about “bewbz” I suppose that I’ll watch them. I guess I have to. *sigh*
Empire of the Rising Sun is enticing and I can’t way to play them but… am I the only one that misses Yuri?

Could he come back in a shock twist at the end?! I bloody well hope so; I love the mind control stuff.
