The Watercooler – 01 November 2008

The Watercooler is a daily Ripten feature that basically gives people something to talk about. It is the best thing you will see on the Internet today, mainly because it is the best thing I saw on the Internet yesterday. “Hey, did you see that video on The Watercooler today?” This will ultimately be a very silly question.
Today’s Watercooler features a music video — a “literal” music video. Some very talented people (Dust Films) have overdubbed the Red Hot Chili Peppers song ‘Under the Bridge’ with all-new lyrics that simply describe what’s going on in the video. The end result is nothing short of stupidly awesome.
I know a lot of you will be like, “I swear I’ve heard this all before,” and you would be right. We had previously featured a literal music video on The Watercooler: Head Over Heels by Tears for Fears. If you missed that, well, then you… uh, can click here and watch it now?
Go ahead, we’ll wait.
You’re welcome.
Actually, I think I liked the Tears for Fears one better, though the running in slo-mo part was awesome.
Think you have something that could be Watercooler material? Send it to dlandis@ripten.com. If your submission gets featured, you will win a prize package full of pride and accomplishment.
