First Look at Sonic Unleashed Hub World and Windmill Isle Level (Video)

I published the cinematic intro for Sonic Unleashed a few hours ago, and I’m back with yet more Sonic video to feed your speed addiction — and by speed I mean running really fast. Anyway, here’s a look at some opening dialog between Sonic and Chip, the Hub World area, and the Windmill Isle level which was playable at TGS 08.

I know there are some hardcore Chip haters out there, and while I admit he isn’t needed in terms of gameplay, a game does benefit from character interaction on multiple levels. Does Sonic absolutely need a sidekick? No. Do I think it breaks the game? No.

Overall, I think Sonic Unleashed is shaping up nicely. I was impressed by the title at E3, and I continue to remain impressed. What are your thoughts?

    after being burned by sonic a few times, I’m a little hedgehog-shy but,this game actually looks to be a move in the right direction. the speed is there, and the melodious chime of the rings. as long as there is no “jaleel white” it should be pretty good….that or I hope I can play it in Japanese with English subtitles to escape that annoying urkle voice.

    Omg this game looks like its going to rock… my Favorite game series is Sonic The Hedeghog so I like it already hahah I have to Admit games like Sonic the hedehog 2006 and Shadow the Hedeghog didnt cut it the rest did pretty good though (SA2B, SA1, Sonic heros, Sonic battle, Sonic Rush ect)

    Jason= slow lacking attitude
    Ryan=Attitude and Fast
    Ryan=Sonic

    For the love of god if your gonna play this at least put on japanese voices and english subs
