US Air Force offers free Midway PC Games

Time to stir up some more patriotism! The Suffering: Ties That Bind, Rise & Fall: Civilization at War and Area 51 — a rather inspired choice — all up for grabs as the US Air Force dangles the carrot.

There’s no pretence here: a prominent link to US Air Force marketing site tells you this is an attempt to reach potential recruits. Mercifully you don’t have to sign-up for anything, but the games are full of ads, which is setting off some downaloaders’ anti-virus software. Conspiracy theorists best avoid, or don their tin foil hats.

I can’t see the logic in sponsoring these games — all over two years old — in the week we get sequels to Resistance and Gears, but free is free i guess. Download them here.

I would never join the Air Force because leather and ninja sword are not allowed in the dress code, but they seem to get indoor sunglasses right. Cookigaki does not approve!

Oh, Daniel-san… you make fun of Cookigaki because of Cookigaki’s comment on your watercooler? You are right though, Cookigaki would never join Air Force but that is because Air Force boobage is not displayed the way it is in Street Fighter and that makes Cookigaki mad. Cookigaki did not know about indoor sunglasses though, is that true?

What the hell is going on here? Cookigaki, you’re going to go down in internet history, I swear.

  • Dan Landis

Cookigaki IS internet history… except with ninja sword, entourage of boobs, and a massive boner that makes you hear wailing guitar when you look at it.

Thank you, Daniel-san. It is nice to know that someone gets Cookigaki, but Cookigaki does not like when you take words out of Cookigaki’s mouth. With no words in mouth, how is Cookigaki expected to feed the kids? Cookigaki has tried feeding them ninja sword and used indoor shades, but it is not sufficient. Cookigaki is sorry to say, but Cookigaki does not approve! (but you’re alright, Daniel-san)
