EA Revives Red Alert 3 for PS3 — With Extra Bits

It was out on hold after EA deemed PS3 “too exotic and tough” to develop for, but it seems like they’re ready for another crack at it. Producer David Silverman has announced that people are already working the PS3 version. And it isn’t just a port.
Silverman says it was delayed until the Xbox 360 version shipped because EA LA was concerned that they couldn’t keep the quality up, but he reckons it will be worth the wait for PS3 owners.
“We’re looking at doing some really cool things with the PS3 version. Since it is shipping later we’re putting in a lot of cool content and really taking advantage of both the 1080p nature and the high-defness of Blu-Ray and also the fact that it can hold just so much more space.”
Hopefully this will be a bit more than shinier cutscenes - but Silverman wouldn’t be drawn on anything else, adding that he had “already said too much”. What a tease.

Cookigaki hopes that by “extra bit” you don’t mean unexpected penis. Cookigaki definitely does not approve!
