New Mortal Kombat vs. DC Fatalities: Sonya Snaps, Catwoman Crackles, and Sub-Zero Pops

Uhhh, the quirky headline and image should pretty much say it all, but if you need a little extra explaining, I’ll do my best. Midway has revealed three new MK vs. DC Universe Fatalities that I thought needed a little side by side comparison to their breakfast cereal mascot counterparts — Snap, Crackle, and Pop.
That’s right, Sonya snaps a neck, Catwoman cracks a whip, and Sub-Zero makes a frozen body go pop. I’m going to eat some Rice Krispies while I try my best to hold back tears of disappointment. ESRB for me to poop on.

So it was ESRB who toned it down. My friend was telling me that they toned it down because it involved super heroes and shit, but how can you NOT have bloody goodness in an MK game???

Midway is personally offending Cookigaki by featuring all of the leather, boobage, indoor shades, and the occasional ninja sword in a totally un-awesome way. It is blasphemous! Cookigaki does not approve of this garbage!

looked great at E3, but i remember thinking “there’s no way they’re gonna rate this teen.”
we’ll just have to see how it plays.

Yeah Zung. That’s exactly what happened. The build we saw at E3 showcased the Superman Brutality and I THINK it had the Scorpion fatality. Since then they showed off the Joker and that went over really well, but it got reworked because it was too awesome.
