Gears of War 2 Cinematic Intro, Humanity at Fault

The two minute Gears of War 2 cinematic intro paints a picture of human ignorance fueled by a “hunger for power” — soldiers marching without hesitation into a war that the narrative suggests they brought upon themselves. Pretty darn deep for a game centered around albino skinned monsters who live underground.

    There is not enough back story to say that humanity were at fault. The narrative sounds to be from the locusts view of the conflict. unless, this is a prologue to an event from the past.

    story line seems epic as hell. Pretty much since the halo line alot of developers have been adding in some meaningful story like besides “aliens attack, go kill um” although it can lead to a good game. GOW2 look awesome cant wait to get my hands on it soon.
