Halo Wars Collector’s Edition Available For Preorder

For you Halo fanatics out there, the Halo Wars Limited Collector’s Edition – which is bursting at the seams with Halo goodness – is now available for preorder. I’m not crazy about plunking down $80 for a game, but I have to admit, there’s some pretty sweet stuff here. Hit the jump to read all about it.
If you pick up the Collector’s Edition, you will receive:
- Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack – Be one of the first to check out Assembly, Orbital, and Sandbox.
- Halo Wars: Genesis – A Halo graphic novel written by Eric Nylund, the author of the Halo novels.
- In-Game Vehicle – Drive around in an “Honor Guard” Wraith, teasing everyone else who doesn’t have one.
- Six Leader Cards – Leaders sport elite skills and can be major assets in battle.
- Spirit of Fire Patch – In the picture it looks more like a sticker to me, but either way, slap this bad boy on to show your allegiance. And to show that you’re the biggest nerd walking God’s green Earth.
Also, gamers who preorder Halo Wars (I assume SE or CE) from participating stores will receive a code to download a special Warthog in-game.

Why is it always flames? Why are those still cool? Halo Wars hits shelves in February of next year.

Yay! I wonder if there are any copies left? It’s February now, and I want Mythic maps before anyone else! I am a really big Halo fan.

Oh, and when was the last time you checked up on Halo Wars? It’s rated teen. You might want to add that to the article for anyone who’s parents are worried what their children are watching (and listening to) is appropriate.
