The game disc gets scratched after 10 minutes of gameplay. None of my other games get scratched from my Xbox, but I've bought two copies of this game and both of them are scratched and unplayable. Any suggestions?

How about this, I actually own the game and its excellent i tend to hate rpg’s but this sucked me in, the fights are very intense, and the amount of customization is staggering as far as Unions (party system) and how they can effect the outcome of the battle drastically. And usually a game that gets a good review should warrant your attention, hence how I save money, see a cool looking game, watch in game videos, then read multiple reviews. I mean Katamari didn’t look like a good game first glance and waddya know it turned out great.

While I think what art rumpf is say is somewhat true. I doubt they give it 10,10,9,9, they would have probably given it all 8s to calm the rabid fan base, which is what they gave Infinite Undiscovery. Looking at sites like gamerankings a few other sites gave that game an 8, but the average is 69 so going by that Last Remnant should be about an 8, But then again I agree with infinite Undiscovery getting an 8. I guess when you play it you’ll know for sure.

Honestly, Famitsu is pretty open about giving sub-par games perfect scores due to “fan demand”. I read an article explaining it once, and I want to say Famitsu’s response was basically “Well all of the Square-Enix nuts are going to go and buy it no matter what we say, and if we give a game that probably has a huge fan following a less-than-perfect score we’ll lose readers from among that fanbase.” At least they’re pretty transparent about it though, and Famitsu still rocks for early rumors and scans and whatnot.

If you played Yggdra Union then you knew the potential for a 3D version of something like that. I didn’t even hesitate when it went for 39.99. Plus it Square, come on people have you lost your confidence in them already. I’ll admit the 39.99 price tag did make me question for a second, but I though hey if it really sucks I’ll play it and trade it.
