The Watercooler – 22 November 2008

by Dan Landis on November 22, 2008 at 4:04 am

The Watercooler

Ever wonder what videogame characters have to talk about while they’re at work? Likely not videogames. With this daily Ripten feature, we plan to showcase something on the Internet that our digital friends may find interesting enough to talk about when they gather around The Watercooler.

Warning: The Watercooler is the best thing you will see on the Internet today, mainly because it is the best thing I saw on the Internet yesterday. Be advised that these Watercooler stories are not necessarily videogame related (they usually won’t be), and are often silly, controversial, and/or not safe for work (NSFW). If this type of content frequently offends you, please be aware that I just warned you — if you still click through and get offended, it will be your own stupid fault. Otherwise, please continue…

Today’s Watercooler features some police dogs in training. I know what you may be thinking, and no, this was not suggested by Dylan Duarte. Other people are fascinated by dogs, too. In fact, this video was shown to me by my brother, who discovered it shortly after his wife said “Hey, look at this”. My favorite part is at the beginning where a dude gets dragged through the window of a van. Yeah.

You’re welcome.

Now of course we’re not condoning violence here, but it’s pretty surprising to see how much power these dogs have. I’d hate to see what would happen if the perpetrators were made of hotdogs.

Think you have something that could be Watercooler material? Send it to dlandis@ripten.com. If your submission gets featured, you will win a prize package full of pride and accomplishment.

Um, do dogs like eating cookies, because Cookigaki does not approve!

The chocolate in some cookies will harm them, but dogs do eat most anything.
