I’ve read a couple of your articles on this site, And while i respect your opinions… but seriously man at least be inpartial and un-biased! I mean you are a 360 fan boy that refuses to acknowledge it! Fair enough home’s not that great at the moment but it has some great potential but you never mention things like that. U just dump all over sony in what seems to be any ps3 related topic! I know you say you dont like the console but i dont understand why? I mean most games that come are available on both platforms… its only really the exclusives that matter and lets face it we only get about 4-5 a year. Fair enough you don’t like Home but when you write an article why not try and see it from both perspectives…or just stick to the 360 articles man. I like both consoles and I own both so i try not to get caught up in fanboy wars but just dont try and camoflage as unbiased because thats just not true! so get some one else to write articles like that and stop being such an XBOT mate.

I don’t think owning the system would automatically make a person more objective, and I don’t think NOT owning a PS3 means I can’t talk about my experiences with it or post news about it. Hopefully as you mature you will come to learn that.

Thanks for the heads up… that explains a lot! So that’s why he’s wasn’t so quick to answer my second comment. Now I know why the posters from N4G mentioned to me not come to this site. They were absolutely correct about Ripten not being objective and having very narrow views in their articles.

Next time I will skip any stories coming from Ripen. Oh, and Dan, Home is what you make it, I’ve had an absolute blast & I’ve been bored to death… it all depends on who you’re with or meet and interact with! I personally don’t own a 360 but I don’t hating on the thing. Sure I too have had limited time with the unit and it has it’s pros & cons just like the PS3. Hopefully as you mature you will come to learn that.

Superior exclusives, is that why Gays Of War 2 and Fable 2 got out – rated by LittleBigPlanet in the reviews??? ROFL! Imagine a cute little platforming game getting more critical acclaim than your supposed “ZOMG Graphixxxxxx!!!!111oneoneone!” games. Although, speaking of graphics it’s not really any wonder Gears 2 didn’t get rated so well – it’s got some of the worst graphics i’ve ever seen in a videogame – almost as bad as the first one (The first one looked like the graphics were hand – drawn by a blind retard). Pokemon Yellow version on the GBC had better graphics than Gears Of War 2, though i suppose that’s why MGS4 won “Best Graphics” at the VGA’s instead of the 360′s last – gen technical mess, right?

Also, the reason you can’t hear me is probably because of your 360′s DVD drive whirring out of control, not because of the 360′s non – existent 2009 lineup. Honestly, why would anyone want to buy a console that sounds like an elephant blowing it’s nose when you switch it on???

That said, I know for a fact in-game voice and video chat is coming soon.

That should give you more time with the 360 & XBL. You make it clear that not a fan of Sony’s console, so why not stop covering PS3 news and stick to the gaming products & news you actually like? Seems like a no brainer to me… it would definitely save you all this needless bantering back & forth.

And Patrick, yes I waited in line to bowl and it was even more boring than waiting to bowl in real life. At least in real life, there are things outside of anyone’s control that force me to wait. Home is Sony’s creation and they certainly could have taken steps to ensure that I wouldn’t spend so much time at the bowling alley NOT bowling.

And no, I didn’t play Motorstorm, but my friend showed me how to launch games with friends. I can see how that might be an improvement over the pain in the ass it used to be, but I certainly don’t think it makes Home any less boring.

I agree with you on the boring “beta” part. I have always predicted that people will spend about 1/100th of the time their PS3 is on in Home, the other 99/100ths would be used to either play games or watching movies.

It may kick NXE ass 10 fold! But honestly, the only time people spend time playing with their avatar is when they first create them, and a little tweak here and there. Aside from that, they are playing games.
