Street Fighter IV “Trial mode” details
by Sam Naylor on January 15, 2009 at 11:16 amThe Escapist reports that Street Fighter IV, Capcom’s latest addition to the legendary franchise, will feature an extensive (and I mean extensive) “Trial mode”. Essentially a tutorial, this game mode aims to create tournament level players out of novices. Seth Killian, Capcom’s senior community manager, notes that “It begins with normal moves, then it goes on to specials, supers, ultras, two-in-one combos, chains into specials, links into specials and then finally, how to put it all together.”
He continues: “We teach you what the pros refer to as ‘bread-and-butter’ combos, as well as focus cancel techniques that are useful to your particular character.” Sounds perfect for those of us who want to master the game without reading through endless FAQs on the internet. Hardcore SF player? It’s good for you too: “Most advanced players will probably start to actually fail around level four with most of the characters.” See the video after the jump.

I’m just amazed the game will have enough moves to make use of a tutorial system. I love SSF2THDR but everyone has like.. 3 moves.

I probably would love that game if it was out in Europe. :(
