Call of Duty: World at War fans rejoice! I’ve heard all the bickering and bitching online about wanting new maps, well, your bitching has finally paid off. COD: World at War is finally receiving a multiplayer map pack in March with four brand new maps for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The four new maps are called “Nightfire”, “Station”, “Knee Deep” and “Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)”.
No word on how much the new maps will cost you and when exactly in March they’ll come out, but I’ll be sure to keep you posted because I’ll be one of the first to download the map pack. And don’t be surprised if we get another double experience points weekend with the new map pack. Hit the jump for the full description of the new maps.
- In “Nightfire,” players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy.
- “Station” offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars.
- “Knee Deep” takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center.
Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)
The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with “Verrückt,” a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde.
