Army of Two: The 40th Day Officially Announced

A Montreal announced today that a sequel to Army of Two is in the works for Winter 2009. Titled Army of Two: The 40th Day, the fist-bumping tag team Salem and Rios return to blaze a path through a choatic, devastated Shanghai, China.
When a disaster of epic proportions strikes Shanghai, China, Rios and Salem find themselves right in the middle of it all—the wrong place, the wrong time, but the right team. A carefully orchestrated series of mysterious catastrophes is dragging Shanghai to the brink of ruin, and now the Army of Two must fight their way through ravaged city districts as they try to beat the odds and uncover the secret of the 40th Day.
The sequel will feature even more co-op moves, allowing for more strategy and resulting in a bigger and better co-op experience. I like the sound of that.
If you’ve never played the original, feel free to check out the Ripten review of Army of Two. Hey, I’m a poet.
The first Army of Two had some cool ideas and some geniunely badass moments, but I think ultimately failed in its execution. Let’s hope that The 40th Day can patch up some of the flaws and give us a truly great co-op experience.
Army of Two: The 40th Day is headed to Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PSP.

The 1st one SUCKED ASS
1- How the hell they got funding for a sequel is mindblowing
2- It's got to be better than the first unless you buy the game and the disc is blank, thats the only way it could be worse than Ao2 (maybe thats not such a bad thing)
