Ian Cummings “The future of Madden is here baby!”

by Tyrell Jackson on March 20, 2009 at 1:15 pm

While observing my Twitter page, I noticed something that seemed very interesting and I though I would share it with you guys.

For those anticipating Madden 10, Ian Cummings the Lead Designer has posting an interesting message on his Twitter:

“Saw some pretty amazing tech in today’s build. Never before seen in a football game I believe. The future of Madden is here baby!” Ian Cummings, Madden 10’s Lead Designer

In the Operation Sports forum, Mr. Cummings follows through with his Twitter posting by saying:

“I don’t mean to be a tease…I hate it if I come across as some PR type of guy.

But it was some pretty killer stuff. You guys will see it in a month or two I’m sure once it’s all locked in and tuned.”

For years now EA Sports has been taking the flack about their Madden series and how it is progressing too slow. From the blog updates thus far for Madden 10, it would appear that EA Sports is taking this year’s version very seriously and with these most recent statements by Mr. Cummings, the Madden community should really be in for a huge treat come August.

look, we have heard that same song and dance before, evry year they say aw, this is the best madden yet. unyil they fix blocking schemes, aka block a saftey before a defensive end, and add reeal bump and run coverage, it will be a sub par game that happens to be the only one in town
