Rumour: Grim Fandango/Monkey Island remake on the way

by Sam Naylor on May 14, 2009 at 10:23 am

In one of the most exciting rumours in a long time, Destructoid has received info that LucasArts will possibly be reviving an old franchise, and note Grim Fandango and The Secret of Monkey Island as possible candidates. In case you didn’t know, I’m a big fan of both. Perhaps it’s a little sad that I’m so optimistic about games being announced that I’ve already played, but I don’t care. I love them both, even with my cold, dry heart.

    Yes,very pleased.Very profitable Lucasarts.

Now go try and respect the original, don't find excuses to ram in the euphoria engine in neither of them-…

We don't need flashy trailers with overdramatic sound effects a la EA style neither dudes, just the games per se,take a note.

I hope they have used someone like this guy who redid some artwork…

    His blog …

He really nailed the artwork, and would shame them up if its a straight remake now!
