Chinese did come up against a roman legion, ifmemory serves. On the silk road, chinese records mention a group of warrors fighting in ‘fish-scale’ formation – which is believed to be the ‘testudo’, used by roman warrors. Interesting, huh?

What about the Persian Immortal vs Roman Century Leader. Both have helped build huge empires. And I could be on the Persian team since I have been studying Ancient Persia and Ancient Greece since I was about 21 (im almost 35!)

We should See Aztecs vs Egyptian Magi because they were both part of big empires, they lived around the same time, and they lived on the opposite sides of the world so there techniques would be very different
