Cops Draw Guns on Cosplayer
You know you did a good job on your Cosplay costume when gun-toting police officers show up in force. A little too good of a job.
For a zombie crawl happening in Seattle, Jay dressed up as an Umbrella commando from the Resident Evil franchise. He then proceeded to walk into a Metro Clothing store wearing his commando uniform with a knife, gas grenade, and a realistic-looking machine gun.
This understandably set off alarms and a dozen police cars pulled up outside and police climbed out, guns drawn. Fortunately, Jay was not mowed down in a hail of gunfire and was about to explain the situation rather quickly.
The lesson here is that if you make a cosplay costume so realistic that the police pull their guns on you, you’ll get on the internet!
