Sam and Max, the lovable detective duo, are making their way to Xbox Live Arcade.

Sam & Max Save the World (season one), the first installment of the popular adventure games, will be hitting Xbox Live next week. The other titles in the series will follow in the coming months. It will cost 1600 MS points, or $20, if my math is correct.

I’ve been interested in the Sam & Max games for a good while now, but have never played them for whatever reason. Can someone fill me in on how good they are? Are they $20 good?
