But Wait, There’s More! PS3 Facebook Integration & Gamecard Options Next On Sony Agenda?

Straight from the anonymous source department come three images depicting what appears to be Facebook integration for the Sony PlayStation 3 console. In addition, the images showcase a new gamercard customization menu.

I personally gave up on the social networking website scene about two years into MySpace but I am sure that if this proves true, it will come as great news to all the Facebook “I just got done taking a poop” status update whores. To each their own. The images below offer a slightly larger look at the screens.

Could this be nothing more than a really good Photoshop job? Yes, it could be. However, it does make sense considering the PS3 recently added Netflix and the competition between both Sony and Microsoft is well documented.

Microsoft does own a 1.6% piece of Facebook, but I highly doubt that would give them the ability to veto a potential partnership with a direct competitor. As of right now, this is still just a rumor, so try to refrain from updating your Facebook status to “extremely fucking excited!” Official word will break soon enough if this proves to be legit.
