The latest Video Game Awards mystery game teaser video features what one can only assume is a police officer tossing his badge off the top of a building in a Hong Kong setting. The badge itself reads “Hong Kong Police” and the video narrative paints a picture of a cop sacrificing his life as a cop and a person to go undercover.

Website Superreragatory believes the game is Activision/Treyarch’s Black Lotus title, which was put on hold by the publisher during the development on Call of Duty: World at War. In addition, the site posted a casting call from a Los Angeles Craigslist post they believe to be connected to the game as well. Have a look at that and the teaser trailer below.

Looking for the following roles for a video game:

MALES:
WEI SHEN (Hero)
late 20s, undercover cop infiltrating the Triads
Grew up in San Franciso and Hong Kong.
Speaks and emotes with confidence.
Think Daniel Wu.

CHIEF INSPECTOR PENDREW
late 40s, British.
28 year police veteran motivated by personal vendetta.
Really wants to take the Triads down.
Strong and fatherly type.
Think Liam Neeson.

JACKIE MAH
late 20s, Cantonese.
He is the Sidekick and comic relief.
He hangs around Wei thinking Wei is real gangster (Jackie is wanna-be)
Average to somewhat skinnier body type.
Full of nervous energy, he comes up with brilliant schemes
that fail with his execution.
High pitched, weasely, strong comic flair.

WINSTON CHU – TRIAD BOSS
late 20s, Cantonese.
Short, stocky, strong, muscular. Works out a lot and you can physically see this.
His brutality helped him rise up the ranks.
Not too smart, very cocky, but listens to his mother.
Confident, brash.

SIU WAH (Informant)
Late 30s, Chinese (Fujian)
Greasy, another poor mainlander looking for better life in Hong Kong
Normal build, unassuming, unnoticed.

FEMALES:
MRS. CHU (Boss’ Mother)
50s, Cantonese
Heavy set, mountain of a woman.
Loud and abrasive.
Think the Loud Lady from Kung Fu Hustle but larger.
She owns a restaurant, always has cleaver.

NOT PING (Cute Girl)
early 20s, Cantonese.
Very cute but nerdy looking behind glasses.
Could have been a model but runs a messy computer shop…

3. Body language is key – this video game takes place in HK so we’re looking for people that can look like they were born and raised in HK.
