Keighley Believes Halo Reach Could Be Biggest Game of 2010 “By Far”

The next installment of the Halo franchise titled Halo Reach is primed for its big Video Game Awards debut on Spike TV December 12th, and producer Geoff Keighley isn’t being shy about letting the world know his true feelings for the game. Microsoft’s Major Nelson sat down with Keighley in recent podcast (1:15 mark), and here’s a bit of what the VGA host had to say:
“At the VGAs we’re actually going to be able to go down on the planet Reach and see this game for the first time … I think it’s going to be the biggest game of next year by far. Folks loved ODST and thought it was great, but when people see the huge leap forward Bungie’s taking with Reach… Everyone I’ve talked to that’s been on the team and seen it is incredibly excited about that game.”
Keighley reaffirmed that the footage we will see at Video Game Awards on December 12th will be completely “in-game stuff.” He seems pretty excited about what he’s seen so far, and in a few days time, we can decide how we feel about the game as well.
