Team Fortress 2 Update: This is War

A brand new update week for Team Fortress 2 is upon us. That should be enough to get you squealing like a little girl, but there’s a lot more to it this time. This time, it’s war.

All of the Demomen and all of the Soldiers playing the game this week will determine who gets a secret extra unlock. Both classes will get 3 new weapons as usual but the 4th will be given to one class only. To choose which class gets it, players from all of the servers in the land will have to pick a side and fight. All Demos that kill Soldiers an all Soldiers that kill Demos will rack up points. If more Demomen have been killed by Soldiers, the Soldier gets the unlock, and if more Soldiers are killed by Demomen, the Demo will get the unlock.

I’ll obviously be rooting for the Demomen, and will be doing my best this week to kill as many Soldiers as possible, temporarily ignoring the fact that Soldier is my second-most played class. More info as the week goes on, so stay tuned.
