VGA09: Does The Halo Reach In-Game Footage Scream Best Game of 2010?

The Halo Reach footage flew across my screen moments ago, and while I can admit it that the shiny new in-game graphical treatment looked good, I just don’t see the best game of 2010 “by far” quality that Geoff Keighley predicted written all over it. With multiple sequels already under their belt, I’m curious to see what the team at  Bungie has planned for this latest installment. I’m not saying the game will suck, but I’m just not sold on it as being clearly ahead of its competition just yet. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think.

    The only reason Geoff Keighley would say that Halo: Reach is the best game of 2010 is because he has seen the actual game, not the awesome opening cinematic introducing you to Spartan Noble Team.

    Soo… we don't get a halo 3 sequel? No explanation to the ending of that game? More bunny hopping firefights? I might buy it, used.
