Darksiders Exclusive Intro Trailer: WAR’s Revenge

THQ and Vigil Games have just released a new trailer offering a stylized picture book type look at the story behind the Darksiders game due to hit stores January 5th 2010. Darksiders is based on the art of popular comic book artist Joe Madureira. Earth has been invaded by evil forces, and you control a character named WAR, one of the Four Horseman, on his quest to seek revenge against the council who betrayed him.

I’m pretty excited about the potential for this game. The art style looks pretty cool and the premise seems to have lots of promise. Watch the trailer below and let me know what you think in the comments section.
