New Mass Effect 2 Footage is Full Of Stars
Today is a great day for Mass Effect 2 news- first with the massive, packed collector’s being announced, and now, with 90 seconds of brand-new footage that signals the coming of a full trailer for the game. If the game looks anything like this footage, it’s sure to be a real contender for 2010 GOTY.
The footage shown has a more Star Wars: The Force Unleashed feel to it than the first game, thanks to the battle sequences and the force push we see a glass-caged test subject put on some soldiers. We also see some narrative sequences of a man looking upon a solar flare, and talking about Commander Shepherd. Having not gotten a chance to play the first game to completion, I’m sure there are more things in here that fans of the series will point out.
The end of the “trailer” points out that next week, on December 22nd, a full-length trailer for the game will hit Xbox Live, and if the footage hopefully shown off in the trailer is anything like the footage above, then I’ll be sure to pick up the game when it hits store shelves on January 26th.
