Geoff Keighley announced in a recent Tweet that Game Trailers had revealed a second take at Batman: Arkham Asylum II’s villain trailer. Pop up commentary offers a brief analysis of the clues that the trailer first introduced at the Spike Video Game Awards. This time, the team at GT took the debut trailer for another spin, providing animated playing cards with suggestions as to who the hinted villains may be.

So far, Chad’s personal analysis is four for four, with the obvious Joker and Harlequin thrown out of the equation. Geoff suggested that most of you may have missed one our two in the first viewing, but we at ripten are unchallenged in the Bat-verse.

So far, the bad-guy roster reads: Catwoman, Penguin, Black Mask, and Two Face in addition to the aforementioned ones. Of course, this is still speculation, but we’re pretty sure we’ve got this thing covered.

In the first Arkham Asylum, there’s a secret room in the warden’s office that can be accessed using explosive gel. Inside this room is a blueprint of Warden Sharp’s plans to alter a sizable chunk of Gotham into an extension of the Asylum, along with a couple of pieces of what appear to be concept art for the sequel. This seems to imply that Sharp might have won the Mayoral election and put his plan into action, extending the Asylum as he originally intended, which is what we see with the walled-off section of the city in the trailer. Not only this, but it seems Rocksteady had the sequel already planned out.
