GDC 2010 Award Nomination Now Open
The tenth annual Game Developers Choice Awards, produced in conjunction with the Game Developers Conference (GDC), has begun accepting nominations for best of 2009. Nominees are selected by gaming industry related professionals worldwide on the Game Developers Choice website with finalists narrowed down by a 15-person Advisory Committee comprised of writers and developers on both the mainstream and indie front.
New to this year’s award process is a 500 member International Choice Awards Network (ICAN) committee consisting of a diverse mix of top game creators throughout the industry. Winners in each category will be arrived at through the voting of this committee.
Last years winners include LittleBigPlanet (2008 Best Game Design), Prince of Persia (2008 Best Visual Art), World of Goo (2008 Best Downloadable Game), Fall Out 3 (2008 Game of the Year).
The event will take place in the North Hall D at San Fransisco’s Moscone Convention Center on March 11th (Thursday), 2010 at 6:30PM.
