Boy Gets Stabbed For Playing Too Much Xbox

We sure live in a crazy world. A drunken 55-year-old Scottish woman was upset that a 13-year-old boy under her care wouldn’t stop using the Xbox and the computer, so a fight ensued that ended with the woman stabbing the boy in the stomach with a kitchen knife.

The woman claims that she didn’t intend to hurt the boy and that he hurt himself to get her in trouble. His testimony was different:

She hit me on the back of the head. I stood up and pushed her back. We started fighting. She pushed me back down on the chair. I saw she had a knife. I got up and tried to push her back, and then got stabbed. She lunged at me.

Amazingly, the woman was convicted but isn’t getting any jail time, but rather 300 hours of community service.

It looks like videogames do make people violent, just not the people who play them.
