It’s been 2010 for just about 3 days now. This of course means that EA will be closing down the servers for a whole host of games soon (February 2), including the recently released Madden 09, and NBA 09. To be fair to EA, they are probably shutting down the servers because nobody is playing on them any more. It costs them money to keep servers going, and with few people playing on them, there’s not much reason for them to keep going. Madden 09 has only just come out. Why are they shutting it down so soon? They might get an influx of bargain bin buyers.
