Left 4 Dead 2 Multiplayer Available for UK Xbox Live Silver Users This Weekend
Microsoft have announced that beginning January 15 at 17.00 pm GMT and ending on January 18 at 17.00 pm GMT, Left 4 Dead 2 will be playable online for all UK Xbox Live users, including ‘Silver’ ones. No news on whether this will extend to the rest of the world yet, but I will update as necessary.
To be honest, I’m not seeing the point of this at the moment. Surely if you own Left 4 Dead 2, a game that was designed purely with playing online in mind, you have an Xbox Live Gold account? If you can’t play L4D2 online, you’re missing the point of the game. You can’t even justify it with not needing to go online, since you can only do 2-player splitscreen. Oh, and by the way- the PC version doesn’t have playing online fees. Just saying.
