No New Wii Any Time Soon
Despite all the rumors that Nintendo is planning to release a new Wii, referred to as the “Wii HD”, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has been adamant in his denial of any such thing. That hasn’t stopped the speculation, though, and Reggie has spoken up again.
“We are confident the Wii home entertainment console has a very long life in front of it.”
Industry Gamers points out that there’s a difference between denying a new console and guaranteeing the Wii’s longevity. Then again, Reggie has already denied the rumors several times, so maybe he just changed his words up to keep from losing his mind.
