Videogame Inspired Diet Helps Obese Teen Lose Half His Weight
Taylor Lebron slims down by leveling up.
An overweight teen by the name of Taylor Lebron found himself at an astonishing 297 pounds not long after his 14th birthday, and made the personal decision that enough was enough. His recently published book, titled “Cutting Myself in Half: 150 Pounds Lost One Byte at a Time”, documents his three year long journey of weight loss inspired by the videogame past time he says had a big part in his weight gain.
Taylor would eat large amounts of food while sitting hours at a time playing videogames, but when his state of health finally reached a point he could no longer live with, he decided to use his love for gaming as a means to shed the pounds he put on playing them. It was at this point, that the “Ultimate Fitness Game” was born. Devised by the teen, Ultimate Fitness transformed his real world into a videogame infused parallel universe where advancement came with a price. Calories translated into money, and gradual weight loss propelled him through the levels of his fictional game.
Slowly but surely, Taylor went from a biscuit under 300 pounds to a slim 145 with the help of some creative measures and a dedicated work ethic. Congratulations go out to Taylor, for using something he is passionate about to help him achieve his goal.
