Cryptic Offers Lifetime Subscriptions to Star Trek Online

Cryptic Studios, the folks behind the upcoming MMORPG Star Trek Online, are offering some great membership deals exclusively to those who pre-order the game. Naturally, these bargains will expire upon the game’s release date of February 2nd, 2010.

A 12-month membership option will be offered for $119.99. This package includes two extra character slots and a discounted monthly price ($10 per month instead of the standard $14). For those who are in for the long haul, a lifetime membership deal will be purchasable for $239.99. This does include the two extra character slots, as well as a playable Starfleet captain who has been reclaimed from the Borg. After Star Trek Online’s release, the lifetime price will revert to $299.99. It’s worth noting that these limited time promotional offers include subscription time and extra slots, but a separate game purchase is still required.
