Darksiders 360 Screen Tearing Patch Hits This Wednesday

If you read this site you know that I absolutely loved Darksiders, but you also know that the 360 version of the game suffered from some pretty unfortunate screen tearing. Well, according to a post by the Darksiders Community Admin, the patch Vigil Games promised us is on its way.

Xbox 360 users, we’re pleased to announce that a patch for the screen tearing issue experienced by some gamers will be available on Wednesday around 2am PST! Just fire up the game and the download will start automatically if you are connected to Xbox Live.

To everyone, we really appreciate your feedback and hope you know that we’re paying attention to all of it. Again, thanks for playing Darksiders!

So there you have it — as of this coming Wednesday, the 27th, Xbox 360 owners of the game will be able to play (or replay) Darksiders without the screen tearing distractions.

    Well alright!

    I thought it was gonna take a while. Now I can go out, buy it and play it the way it was meant to be played.

    On a separate note:
    As long as Golden Sun doesn't get pushed back anymore or god forbid cancelled (like SC: Ghost and etc. cancelled games) I'll have one of the best years ever.
