Valve Fans Petition for Counter-Strike 2

Counter-Strike’s getting on a bit now. It used to be the icon of PC gaming, with millions playing and thousands playing competitively, both at LAN events and online. Obviously it still has a following, but some loyal fans think the series needs a bit of a reboot to bring in new blood.

It’s nice to see CS players welcoming new blood in. Usually they’re thought of as elitists and obnoxious idiots, but they’re a minority now, it seems. I genuinely feel that Counter-Strike is a great game, so I’m certainly not against a new version of the game. I also know that if Valve did put out a new CS game, it’d be brilliant. They know exactly what their community wants, and are prepared to give it to them. It’s also nice to see gamers petitioning for something good, rather than against something bad.
