Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Others Dated at Nintendo’s Media Summit
Big news coming out of Nintendo’s US Media Summit in San Francisco today with the announcement of Super Mario Galaxy 2 being dated for a May 23 release date and Metroid: Other M following a month later for a June 28 release date.
Other big news coming from the Big N for the first half of 2010 include the March 28 release date for the DSi XL, which will launch for $189 and with three different colors to choose from: wine, red and black.
More games coming from Nintendo were dated today including Sin & Punishment 2: Star Successor for June 7, Pokemon Heart Gold/Silver for March 14, Mega Man 10 for March 21 and Cave Story for March 22.
Some titles we weren’t sure about seeing on any Western consoles were Dragon Quest IX and Monster Hunter Tri have now been confirmed by Nintendo with Dragon Quest getting a summer release date and Monster Hunter a release date of April 20.
Another tidbit of news from the Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, the Wii version will feature two-player co-op and will also include the 1992 classic version of the SNES original Prince of Persia.
Looks like 2010 is gonna be a great year for Nintendo and I sure as hell can’t wait for some of these titles to come out!
